"Miss Sibyl? The rehearsal will start in a few." I lifted my eyes from staring at my phone when I heard a voice, glancing at the mirror coldly, I saw the studio director peeking on the door.

"Miss?" aniya kaya tumaas lang ang kilay ko, hindi pa rin nagsasalita. "Miss Sandejas—"

"Shh! Oo, alam n ani Ma'am!" ani ng hairstylist ko na inangat pa ang kamay para sumenyas na ayos na at umalis na siya.

The director looked a bit confused and he stared back at me from the mirror while I was glancing at him nonchalantly and he blinked.

"Ma'am—"

"Alis na, oo na! Ayos na!" my stylist said again at napakurap-kurap ang director bago nagtatakang tumango, hesitant at first, he left.

"Pasensya na, Ma'am." I heard the stylist said pero hindi ako umimik.

I scoffed, muli akong bumaling sa phone ko at nakita ang message ng pinsan ko sa akin.

Hi, Sib! Sorry, sorry talaga! Huhu! I was getting ready to watch your rehearsal but something came up. Attorney announced na may make-up class kami! Bawi ako soon, Sib! Sorry!!!

My lips lifted for a small smile pero kaagad na nawala iyon nang maramdaman akong medyo masakit na hatak sa buhok ko.

"Ouch!" I groaned in anger, mabilis akong nag-angat ng tingin sa salamin at nakita ko kung paano nanlaki ang mata ng stylist sa narinig.

"N-naku, Ma'am! S-sorry!" I saw how she paled the moment I stared at her intently. "H-hindi ko po sinasadya, sorry po—"

"Be careful, okay?" malamig at medyo irita kong sabi and she nodded at me, almost shaking.

"O-opo..."

"One more careless move and I'll fire you." Mariing sabi ko at mas namutla siya, paulit-ulit na tumango sa akin.

Hindi ko na siya pinansin, mabilis akong bumaling muli sa phone ko at nagtipa ng reply.

It's okay, Adi. Basta ba papayagan mo akong make-up-an ka kapag nagkita tayo.

I chuckled, she's being nerdy again, takot na takot sa make-up, akala mo nama'y papangit eh, mas gaganda naman siyang lalo.

"Sibyl, you done? Teresa is waiting outside for the rehearsal." I glanced at the mirror again and saw my manager peeking.

I lifted my hand in the air, mabilis namang hinaplos saglit ng stylist ang buhok ko at ibinaba iyon, marahang umaatras para makatayo ako.

I shifted my seat, mabilis na tumayo para pasadahan ng tingin ang suot ko.

I looked sophisticated, classy and flawless in my light pink tutu for our rehearsal today. This is just a practice kaya simple lang ang aking suot, my hair is in a classic bun, malinis iyon kaya na-e-emphasize lalo ang aking itsura.
