I stared at the results of the two tests in front of me. My vision blurred as the tears started to well up in my eyes. This isnt how i imagined my life going at 18. Here i am in my bathroom with two positive pregnancy tests. What am i going to do? I slid down my bathroom door pulling my knees to my chest as tight as i could. At this point i couldnt even stop the tears from falling down my cheeks.
"Tashaun you alright in there girl?" My roomate asked knocking on the bathroom door lightly
I sniffled a little wiping my face before answering her.
"Yes, im fine. Thank you" i said trying to sound as normal as possible. Fail.
She was silent for a second. I knew she knew i was lying, but she didnt want to press the issue.
"Ok well Sharife is here " she said
"Tell him I don't feel good, i'll call him later" i told her
"Come tell me yourself" i heard him say thru the door
I threw my head back in fustration. Hearing his voice only made me more emotional.
"I don't feel good. I said i'll call you" i told him
" i'm here now tho- why you got the door locked?" He said trying to get in
"Sharife Please" i begged
" Are you crying? Tashaun open this door" he said jiggling the door knob
"Rife, go away." I whined sniffling a little
"Tashaun, open this door or i swear to god ima break it down." He said calmly against the door
I knew he meant it. Most people are worried when a person yell, but its when Sharife talks calmly that scares me. I wiped my face checking myself in the mirror before opening the door for him.
"What's up with you?" He asked coming in closing the door
"I don't feel good. I told you." i said sitting on the toilet
"Ok. What you on your period or sum?" He said coming closer to me
Wont have one of those for the next few months now will i?
