"We'll kind of match!" He said, "Black and silver, that would be nice!"
I nodded, and asked him to fetch the gloves from the kitchen drawer. He brought us back both one pair to work with.
"Alright," I huffed, "Let's do this."

"What if I'm not doing this right?" Beomgyu asked, I shrugged while he applied more of the dye to my hair.
"It's fine, it could wash out," I replied, "Maybe next time we'll try something more complicated, like the pink with blue and yellow?"
Beomgyu hummed in response.
"I'm going to miss having yellow hair not gonna lie," I admitted, "I guess it is nice to change hair colors every now and then. What color did you want for yours?"
"I don't think I'm going to dye mine," Beomgyu replied, "It looks like so much work for just hair color, don't you think?"
He finished, taking the gloves off and throwing them away.
"I think I did a pretty good job for my first time!" He said proudly, "What do we do next?"
I checked the sides of his hair, making sure every little bit was covered.
"Alright, now I just let this sit for a little bit and we should be good to go," I said happily, "Are you sure you don't want to color yours? I think you'd look good with black hair like mine!"
"I think I'm good," Beomgyu scoffed, "I seriously doubt the color would stay for awhile anyways."
A few hours later, I washed the color out of my hair leaving behind a raven black on my once yellow hair.
I rinsed the remaining color, drying my hair off with a towel. I got one last look before walking back out to the kitchen where Beomgyu was waiting. He saw me and his expression lit up.
"Yeonjun you look great!" He beamed, clapping his hands joyfully.
"You did a good job dying it," I smiled, giving him a pat on the head, "It wouldn't have looked this good if I dyed it myself, you did really well Beomgyu."
Beomgyu smiled and hit my shoulder playfully.
Later that evening, Beomgyu and I were making dinner together. I made myself a bowl of noodles, while Beomgyu found this weird steak thing he wanted to try. He showed me the cookbook and pointed to the picture.
"Steak tartare? What the hell is that?" I questioned, taking the book from him.
"I dunno, but it looks really good," Beomgyu replied, "It looks simple, you just make a slab of raw meat and add an egg on top!"
I shrugged, "I could make you some noodles too if you want? I have this one recipe I used to eat a lot."
Beomgyu shook his head.
"I'll just make my own steak tarta- tar-" He looked at the recipe book, "However you pronounce it. I'll make it myself!"
"Right but you could get food poisoning from that," I replied, getting some cup noodles out of the pantry.
Beomgyu shrugged, insisting that he could handle it.
"Alright, fine," I replied, gesturing over at the fridge, "There should be some beef and eggs in the fridge, I just bought some the other day."
Excitedly, Beomgyu opened up the fridge and looked around inside. Meanwhile, I boiled a pot of water for myself and cooked the noodles. Beomgyu busily worked, shaping the meat on the platter and adding an egg on top. He grabbed some seasonings from the top cabinet, adding those on top as well.
I finished making myself some noodles. I added a hard boiled egg on top, adding in the flavor package after it. Beomgyu and I set our food in front of the TV, adding a candle for some extra ambience.
We finished, Beomgyu brushing himself off happily as he sat down on the couch.
"I think that went fairly well," He said proudly, as I sat down to join him. I handed him a fork and a pair of chopsticks for me.
We watched movies on the TV comfortably, the silent pattering of the rain outside accompanying the soft atmosphere. I fed him a bite of the noodles I made earlier. Beomgyu finished his meal in a matter of seconds, laying back on the couch comfortably.
"We should do this more often," Beomgyu murmured, "It was a nice day today, even if we couldn't go out."
I smiled, and nodded.

Later that night, we went to bed with the rain still pouring outside. Beomgyu said he wanted to sit by the window and watch the rain droplets outside. I went to my room, getting into my bed.
Soon enough, I heard the lights turn off and Beomgyu found his spot on the couch to sleep. The rain was starting to get a little heavier, pelting against the glass window outside my bedroom.
Suddenly, I heard an audible, distant clash of thunder. Still, I tried to block out the sound of thunder outside, though it was persistent.
I could see a streak of lightning through my blinds, a thin flash of light. I settled closer in my bed when I heard my door open quietly. A small shadow appeared in the doorway, illuminated by the light of the hallway.
Beomgyu peeked through the door nervously, his blanket wrapped around him He was trembling, and walked in my room.
"What's wrong, Gyu?" I asked, moving the blanket aside.
"Y-Yeonjun c-can I sleep with you tonight?" He whimpered, holding the blanket tighter around him.
There was another loud thunderous crash, and Beomgyu covered his ears. I sat up, turning on a lamp.
"C-Can I sleep with you tonight?" He asked, "I'm scared... "
I moved aside some of my blankets and patted a spot on the bed next to me. Flustered, he ran over and settled into the spot next to me.
I heard Beomgyu whimper, hiding his face under the blanket. I turned off the lamp and moved the blanket over to him.
"You'll be okay Gyu, it's just thunder... that's all," I reassured him, "Nothing's going to hurt you, okay? Try to get some sleep."
Beomgyu nodded, huddling closer to me. I gave him a hug, Beomgyu holding the blanket close to him. The two of us laid there, listening to the rain patter on the window.
After a couple moments of silence, I heard soft snoring coming from underneath the blanket. Gently moving the cover aside, I saw that Beomgyu was sound asleep.
