*Chapt.6*

Mouth's POV

Mikey grabbed my sister's hand and led her down the drop-off. It was pretty obvious they liked each other and I knew they would be the best couple ever. Sid helped me down after she helped Data, when we turned around we found something amazing. A beautiful waterfall with gold coins scattered all over the place, Mikey walked through the waterfall pulling my sister along with him. We all jumped off the ledge into the water and started collecting coins. The coins looked relatively new like our generation, not Willy's. Mikey, Data, and Sid were exchanging coins as I studied the coins in my hand aloud.

"President Lincoln. George Washington. Martin Sheen..." I said.

Shit, I screwed up on the last one that was President Kennedy. Stef noticed and ripped the coin from me and then yelled at me that I was wrong. We got into a yelling match and then I saw a flash of blue denim and tan skin. My sister appeared out of nowhere and pushed Stef into the water. Stef got up and yelled at Sid for being a bitch but Sid simply pushed her back into the water. Mikey and I ran over to her and pulled my sister away from Stef before she could kill her.

"Hey look! This is a wishing well look!" Andi stated.

Stef wiped the water from her eyes and glared at Sid who flipped her off. Now that's my little sister! Brand told us that this was the old Mosgard wishing well. Mikey and Data began to exchange their coins and then Stef stopped them telling them that couldn't take these. They asked why and she said that it was someone's dreams and wishes. I looked at my own coins and noticed one that belonged to me. I could tell because there was a smiley face on the coin and it had me and Sid's initials on it. I remembered this coin. It was the day we found out the goondocks were gonna get destroyed and that we had to move. Sid and I wished that we didn't have to move and that we were gonna be fine.

I held up the coin for Sid and Stef to see and began my little speech.

"Yeah, but you know what? This one, this one right here, this was my dream, my wish, and it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back. I'm taking em all back."

I dove underwater and took back all the coins with our initials. When I resurfaced I found Brand sitting under the opening, Stef and Andi were talking, Data was tinkering with some of his inventions, and Mikey and Sid were talking. I walked over and sat by Mikey and then Andi called Sid over to them. So when Sid left Mikey called Data over so he could tell us about his crush.

"I hope this doesn't make you mad Mouth but Sid is so perfect." He cheered.

We went on to talk about how he should kiss Sid and that they should get together. Mikey said maybe and then we heard Brand say something and a metallic sound hit the floor. We looked up the shaft and saw Troy with his friends and Sid grabbed a coin and chucked it back up to Troy. He looked down the shaft and shouted at us.

"Hey! Who's down there?" he question.

We dragged Andi over to talk with him because he hates us all and would most likely talk with her. Sid stood down in the water with Mikey while Andi and Troy talked, he sent down the bucket and Andi stepped in for a ride up. Brand told us the order that we were gonna go up in, Andi, him, Stef, Mikey, Sid, Data, and then me. Mikey said something to himself then turned around and yelled Chester Copperppot to us.

"Chester Copperpot! Don't you guys see? Don't you realize? He was a pro. He never made it this far. Look how far we've come. We've got a chance." he shouted.

Sid nodded beside him and tried to convince us to keep going. Andi said no and that we were gonna die if we kept going and how we needed to get to the police. Mikey said that Chunk was already getting the police and then Andi implied that he could be dead. That sent Sid off the end, she hated when people disagreed with her and looked for the bad in situations. She was really positive. Going on this quest meant a lot to her, she loved the goondocks and her friends. I remember the nights she spent crying into my shirts about how she couldn't do anything to save her home. And it didn't help that soon after that night Mikey said he had just about given up on this place.

"Don't say that! Never say that! Goonies never say die!" she yelled voice cracking on the verge of tears.

Andi said she wasn't a goonie and that she wanted to go home. Sid went on a rant about how we were all gonna move and never see each other again and that we needed to keep going in order to stay together. Everyone considered what she said and then agreed to continue on. Andi took off the jacket Troy gave her and put it on the bucket and threw some rocks in it to make it seem like she was in the bucket. And after that, we continued on our way down the tunnel.

Sid's POV

We walked down the other end of the tunnel and after about 15 minutes we stopped for a break. I sat down by Andi and Stef while the boys talked a few feet away from us. Andi was telling me that I NEEDED to kiss Mikey and she was planning out how to do it. She had at least 16 different plans on how to do so.

"I agree. Sid, you need to kiss Mikey you two have it bad for each other." Stef commented.

I rolled my eyes. I honestly didn't care about Stef's opinion, Andi went on to explain another idea for how I could kiss Mikey. I got really tired of listening to them so I left to join the boys and see what they were up to. I again snuck up on them and overheard their convo, it was about me. Mikey told the guys he really liked me and was scared to make the first move. I ran back to Andi and told her the news.

"Andi! Andi! I overheard the boys' conversation! And Mikey said he liked me back!" I cheered.

Us three girls squealed and the boys looked at us as tho we had 16 heads. Andi told me that I had to make the first move since he was scared. Brand walked over while we were planning and told us that we were gonna start moving again. I walked up to the front with Mikey and Mouth and the older kids stayed toward the back. Mikey was engulfed in the map and Mouth was chatting our ears off, I was about to snap at him when we stumbled across another clearing. Mikey looked at the map then up at the clearing.

"This is the next place guys!" he cheered.

We walked over toward the southern wall and found a hole in the wall with little rocks pointing out of it. Mikey put the map in my hands and told me to translate, Mouth made a dramatic scene about him not getting to translate so I handed him the map.

"Copper bones, westward foams...triple stones" my brother finished.

I glued the clues together and figured out that the copper bones was the necklace, three stones were the holes in the necklace ad westward was the way we had to go. I ripped the necklace off and explained my theory to the boys, they got excited and told me to continue on with my plan. I pulled some growth off the entrance to the hole and tried fitting the copper bones on different combos of rocks. I found one that fit perfectly I jumped with joy and Mikey, as tho he were talking with the dead pirate, told him that we were right behind him. I heard Brand groan.

"Why couldn't I have a little sister? Just a little sister like Sid, instead of that!" he complained.

"I'm exactly like Mikey here Brand so you wouldn't get much of a difference." I retorted.

The boys and I figured out that we needed to turn the thing counter-clockwise, and as I did so doors from the hole closed around my hand. I screamed in terror. The boys and I frantically tried to free my hand but it was no use. The sound of something metallic rolled along some track above us. Mouth said it was gonna fall and kill me, that didn't help my situation and I screamed more. The door released my hand and I backed up just as Mikey told us to move to the sides because it was another booby trap. Data was next to me and the floor gave way beneath us. I grabbed onto Data as we fell and he pulled on a cord from his sleeve. A pair of false teeth shot out and clamped down on a stalactite stopping us from falling to our deaths.

"SIDNEY! DATA!" the goonies screamed and looked down from where we fell.

I held onto Data so tight he winced. I looked up to see Mikey grab onto Brand and Mouth's eyes water those idiots really thought we were dead. I shouted to them that we weren't dead and they cheered and celebrated for our survival. I looked around the place we were in it was another room and I told Data that it was a new room. He shouted up to the others on what we discovered, Brand disappeared and reappeared with a rope. He tied the rope to something and tossed it over the side so the rest could climb down. Once everyone was lowered into the new room we took another shortish break.
