Unexpected Relatives

You Beast

Liam's POV

I rushed out into the hallway to find my little sister curled up into a ball by a limp Harry. She's crying hard, and when Louis tries to help her up, she pushes him away. I look at Louis. His face was all contorted. I saw anger, stress, love, and sorrow.

I went to Kota's side, cradling her in my arms like I did when she was a toddler. I remember, when she was about four, three, she woke one night from a nightmare. She had been screaming, and I ran in to her room. I had picked her up and comforted her. Of course, she had never realized that we were related until a few months ago.

A few months ago. Only a few months ago she had met Harry, fallen in love, had that nasty little lie happen, and watch her brother get beat up. Yes, I like Harry, but at age nineteen, that's too young to get married. I mean, I'm older than my sister, I should be the first to get married, even engaged.

I snapped back into reality as Kota started sobbing again.

"Sh." I soothed, "just tell me what happened."

"I don't know!" She stuttered into my arms.

I looked to Louis for answeers. His face was white and his hands were clenched tight.

"I.." he began, but Kota jumped il vigorously to her feet.

"You beast!" She wailed, "And to say that you loved me!" She slapped him hard across the cheek, sending him falling against the wall. He shoved a hand to his red face, where a hand print began showing.

"I hate you!" Kota screamed into his face before she managed to drag Harry into the room and lock the door.

Everything got silent. I stared at Louis, tears began to stream down his face. He crumpled to the floor, face burried in his hands, rocking back and forth.

"I'm so sorry." He sobbed.

"Lou."

"I'm so sorry."

"Lou."

"I should die."

"Lou."

"I should leave the band."

"LOU!"

He stopped, and looked up at me. His eyes her bloodshot and his hair wilder than normal. I reached out with my hand to help him to his feet.

"You need to let her go." I calmly stated, patting his back gently.

"Okay." He sighed.

"There are tons of fish in the ocean."

"Fish?"

I nodded. He laughed.

"Lets go home." I said as we headed toward the car.
