Pico x OC

Part 1: A friendly battle.

Ruby's POV:

It was my turn to go up and battle, but i wasn't given a name for who i was going up against. This school so far itself is just mysterious! First theres 2 kids that talk about Halloween, which they refer to as 'Spooky Month', there's a guy named 'Boyfriend' who looks... Pretty cool. My friend, Girlfriend goes here too along with Boyfriend, who she soon told me she was dating.
"Ruby...."
"Ruby....."
"RUBY!"
I snapped back to reality, not realizing that i haven't moved a muscle. I walked up on stage to see who I was going up against. He was a ginger who whore a green sweater, and baggy pants, like Boyfriend.  I wondered if they both knew each other, but before i could continue to think, he spoke: "Hey, the names Pico. I'll be the one battling you today, alright? Give me a good battle!" I gave him a chuckle, and a smile. "Hiya, I'm Ruby. This is my first year here and I hope you give me a great battle!" I heard him laugh at my cocky attitude. Then the music started playing. "Go Pico, yeah yeah, go Pico yeah. Go Pico, yeah yeah, go Pico yeah." I repeated the words he spoke, in Rhythm. I did this for the rest of the song, and made it through! "Heh, you're pretty good." "Thanks! You're pretty good as well." We both walked off stage, while me not knowing where he went, I went to sit next to Bf and Gf, who were quite happy to see me. "Woah Ruby! You beat Pico!" Bf said in a cheerful way. "Yeah, many people forfeit when they see they're going against Pico. But you didn't, and i think that's because you don't know him or his songs." Gf giggled. "But you did great out there Ruby!" She gave me a pat on the back, making me smile. "So, do you guys wanna hang out, y'know- Have a sleepover?" Bf asked both of us, while we both nodded our heads. "Cya guys at- 9:00 PM?" "Yeah! 9:00 PM!" I packed my things and walked out of the school.
