Diluc never associates himself with The  Knights of Favonious, and there's a reason behind that. Although he made exceptions for people such as Jean and Y/N.

They were the only people he trusted from that Knightly group. Often times he even takes matter to his own hands because the Knights are busy "slacking" around.

While Diluc was deep in his thoughts. He didn't notice that the traveller arrived, and that Paimon have arrived from the commission given to them.

"Master Diluc!" Paimon yells out loud. "Are you even listening?"

This made Diluc regain his conciousness. If he was honest, he doesn't want to admit that he's quite embarrassed of that scene. Especially the fact Paimon and the traveller caught him staring at the Knight sitting on a table having lunch.

"My apologies." Diluc lowers his head a bit. "I was trying to figure....something out." He trails off.

The traveller chuckled already knowing Diluc's slight crush on the Knight. The traveller didn't really want to push it out Diluc's system though.

"Well is there anything I can get you?" Diluc asked the traveller.

"Yeah. The two of us came to have some grape juice!" Paimon declares. "It's so hot today, that we needed a break from the heat."

"Yeah. After a short while, we'll be returning to Springvale." The traveller agrees.

Y/N finished with their meal and got up from the seat to walk towards Diluc. Flashing a soft smile, they looked at the traveller and Paimon.

"Good Afternoon traveller, and Paimon. How's your journey going?" Y/N asked with a soft tone.

"We're great Y/N, thank you for asking." The traveller smiled back.

"Master Diluc. I finished my food already, here's some Mora for the drink and meal." Y/N was about to hand Mora when Diluc lightly pushes their hand back.

"It's in the house Y/N. You've worked so hard these days, that you deserve a bit of a treat." Diluc insists. His voice was as stern as usual, but for once his eyes reflected another emotion which showed softness and joy.

"Oh my....Thank you Master Diluc, but I surely cannot accept this. I am not just a friend of yours, but a customer too." Y/N frowns a bit. "I can't just be free loading."

Diluc shook his head in disbelief. He had no choice, but to pull out the old trick of his.

"Well Y/N. If you very much want to repay me, can you please assist me and the traveller to a mission? We really need an electro user." Diluc looks at the traveller hinting a signal.

The traveller immediately got the hint and replied with a nod. The traveller knew where it was going and was willing to play the cupid's role for the day.
