"We need just one more thing before the Topsy Turver truly comes to life." Vex gestures to the spot where a power core would be. "We need a power core for the Topsy Turver, correct?" You ask. "Correct!" Vex exclaims.
"Where do we need to go so we can get a power core?" You ask. "The Crystal Caverns is our next stop. So let's be on our way before your little friend tried to stop us." Vex exclaims, "But before we head out!" he puts you down and shrinks down to your size, which surprises you a bit before you smile. "Let's go, shall we?" Vex offers you his gloved hand and you take it as you walk through a portal.
A new location was on the plans, it was the Crystal Caverns, the creator curator's name was Mephiles. "The Crystal Caverns Ay? I've seen that place a couple of times and I will say it is rather beautiful to visit." Scarlet says with a bit of enthusiasm. "I believe that will be the next place Vex will strike, and will have quite possibly taken your friend with him." Sackboy ponders for a few moments then nods.
A few moments later, you and Vex arrive at the entrance to the Crystal Caverns, to be greeted and startled by the Curator, "You must be Vex and Y/n correct?" Mephiles asks. "Indeed we are, but how did you know?" You ask Mephiles. "I keep record of all my potential visitors." Mephiles inspects both of you rather quickly for a few seconds, then writes something down in a book. "Proceed." Mephiles steps aside so you can both can enter.
You both enter the caverns just as SackBoy was arriving via the the rocket, Mephiles steps back in front of the entrance and was flipping through the book in their hands. Sackboy runs up to Mephiles and looks at them for a few seconds confused, "Sackboy I presume?" Mephiles lowers the book to look at SackBoy. SB nods to answer Mephiles' question, "And I also presume your here to stop Vex and get your friend back?" Sackboy nods again at Mephiles' question, who then writes something down in the book. "Proceed." Mephiles says as they step out of the way.
Giant crystals were scattered around the rather large cave with several tunnels leading off to other caves. "What Crystal do we need?" You ask Vex, who pulls out a small list of a three crystal types, "Either Aqua Quartz, Celestine, or Chrysoprase. Either one of those three would make good power cores for the Topsy Turver." Vex exclaims.
You ponder for a few moments before deciding on one of the crystals, "Let's get chrysoprase, it sounds like the best one for the Topsy Turver." You say in your usual calm manner. "Let's go find some then!" Vex grabbed your hand and started running, which made you run to keep pace with him, but unfortunately Sackboy had just entered the cave and seen you both running into one of the tunnels. Sb attempts to follow after you both but gets cut off by a few crystalline figures, or well figures made of pure crystal.
You and Vex had seen the crystal figures block Sb, you both held back laughter as you continued through the tunnel. You and Vex had come across various crystals in the cave you two had entered. You both look around for the chrysoprase, or at least a large enough cluster to use as a core.
Sb was trying to catch up to you and Vex but unfortunately he runs into two of Vex's carbon clones of you, one looked like you, while the other looked like a gender swapped version of yourself. Both carbon clones had a green glow to their eyes, were dressed in a similar fashion as Vex and seemed a bit more energetic than your usual self.

Vexed Y/n's was the name of this little boss fight and no matter how much Sb refuses to fight the carbon copy's, he can't exactly run away from said carbon copies, so he had no choice but to fight them.
While Sb was fighting your own carbon copies, you and Vex were looking for the correct crystal, "If I remember correctly chrysoprase looks to have an electric blueish green to it." You say in a quite manner. "Well maybe it's in the next cave over Y/n." Vex exclaims in an excited manner.
You both were make you way to the next cave over, and found a big cluster of chrysoprase. "This is just what we need." Vex says as he picks you up and sits you on his shoulder, You laugh a little bit at the gesture but you have a smile on your face.
Before you both were able to grab the cluster, SB runs up and tackles Vex, making him accidentally throw you. You yelp a bit before hitting your side against the chrysoprase cluster, the impact had knocked you clean out, both Vex and SB shrink away a bit upon your impact, but Vex shoots Sb a death glare before kicking Sb into a portal. Vex gets up quickly to make sure you aren't too badly injured, and lays you nearby before jumping into the portal he kicked Sb into.
After Sb lands on the platform and stands up, Vex says with venom lacing his words "Your going to regret that!" SB freezes up a bit after Vex says that, but as soon as that happens the fight truly starts.
~Meanwhile, outside the battle~ You wake up to Mephiles sitting next to you, with their jacket laying under your head. "Ah, your awake, you took a pretty hard hit against the chrysoprase cluster that you and Vex need." Mephiles says in a monotonous tone. "Oh is that what happened? I suppose that's what the headache is from." You rub your head in pain,
"Lay back down and save your strength." Mephiles states, in a calm manner. You rest your head on Mephiles' jacket, and wait for Vex and Sb to stop clobbering each other. You look over at Mephiles, who was reading over the white book they have.
After a while, you hear one of the two return and you sit up to see Vex kneeling down beside you, "Are you alright Y/n?" Vex asks worried, you nod to at least ease his conscience. You hand Mephiles there jacket before heading back to the Topsy Turver in Vex's arms and with the Chrysoprase cluster.
