Strawberry freckles || Tsukkiyama

Chapter 1.

Third person POV

Yamaguchi has never been the "extraverted" type, he would have this kind of fear that he would upset people or he wouldn't meet their standards. However he did have one person that he could talk to for hours on end and that person was tsukkishima kei.

Him and 'tsukki', as yamaguchi would call him, had this type of bond that no one could ever break. although tsukkishima was cold and short with his responses to yamaguchi's crazy stories he did listen. Tsukkishima had this sort of charm that would make yamaguchi's heart beat faster and get butterflies in his stomach. What was this feeling?

Yamaguchi's POV

Me and tsukki we're walking to school as normal, it was really early since we had morning practice. it was barely sunrise the sky filled with yellows, reds and oranges.it was beautiful. I looked over at tsukki his face was so... i don't even know how to explain it. The way the sun shone through his blond hair and the light that bounced off of his face.. i-it just made him look so... soft. I'M NOT SAYING THAT HE IS SOFT DON'T GET ME WRONG HE'S REALLY... cool.

He must have noticed me staring because he looked over. our eyes met and i didn't know what to do i just... froze. he didn't brake eye contact either. we just stared. i felt my face getting hot so i turned away. what is this feeling??

Tsukki's POV

I don't know why i kept staring at him. It's almost like he put some kind of spell on me. I saw his face blush a deep red, it almost made him look like a strawberry. It was sort of... cute. What am i thinking?! I'm not gay!

He looked away and we both continued to walk to school in silence. it was awkward to say the least.

Once we got to school we immediately went to the club room to get ready for morning practice, once practice started everything seemed fine me and tada- I mean yamaguchi had little conversations when we got water and had small breaks and stuff. i almost forgot about this morning.

(small time skip)

Still tsukkis POV

After practice we went to get changed out of our sweaty clothes, This is why i hate morning practice not only is it really early in the morning but now i have to be all gross and sweaty. I start to take off my shirt and put on deodorant. i look over at yamaguchi his back is toward me. i've never noticed the amount of freckles that are on his shoulders, i could just stare at them all day and- UGHHH what is wrong with me?!

I finished getting dressed and immediately went to my locker. "Tsukki!" i heard from behind me. i turned around to see a familiar freckled boy running towards me "wait for me!!" once he finally caught up with me curled over and caught his breath "hurry up yamaguchi" i said starting to walk away "sorry tsukki" he said as he hurried up along side me. we got to our classroom and sat down in our seats waiting for class to start.

Yamacoochie's POV

We sat at our desks, tsukki sat behind me, and waited for class to start. The teacher came into the classroom and i couldn't help but stare out the window. i started to think about this morning. the more i thought about it the redder and warmer my face got. i didn't realize that the teacher was calling my name until i felt a pencil tap my shoulder. i jumped slightly and looked at the teacher "Thank you for finally paying attention Mr. yamaguchi" the teacher said, the class chuckled and whispered. i felt like throwing up. i HATED this much attention.

Before i knew it it was lunch time me and tsukki went to our usual spot for lunch and i got out my lunch which consisted of salmon maki (i fucking LOVE salmon maki)and some vegetables. I began to eat when i saw hinata and kageyama start to walk over too our table "hey yamaguchi" the orange haired boy said "oh hi" i said, shyly waving at them. I looked over at tsukki to see a slightly annoyed face "ugh why do you dumbasses have to sit with us" tsukki said in his usual annoyed tone "because we can" kageyama said in an almost cold tone.
