Chapter One

England 1002

I was sitting in the meadow staring at the ducks swim.
How they are free that's how I'll want to be one day I'm sick of being in this kingdom with all these rules I wish to be set free.
I heard twigs break from behind me and I turn around and it's just my brother
"What are you doing here Antonio" I sighed and stood up dusted my dress off
"Father has company and would like us to give them a welcoming greeting" he gave me a loaf of bread
I smiled and took it and picked some small pieces and threw it to the ducks
"If it Emilio and his family I don't want to go.. his a twat" I glanced back at him
Emilio is my forced boyfriend and by force I mean I have to date him because I have to marry him my father said
"why is your boyfriend a twat" he laughed and took some bread from me and fed the ducks as well
"He is not my boyfriend" I growled and he put his hands up in surrender
He took my arm in his and we started walking back to the kingdom
We are not supposed to leave the kingdom unless needed father says but I say I need me time. I always sneak out to the town because I love to see the kids playing and all the animals.
"Why don't you like Emilio father says he'll be a great husband for you" he said
"He is a bad man brother, you just don't see it" he frowns at my words
I wasn't allowed to tell anyone that Emilio hits me or he said I'll be punished and I'm to afraid to find out what that means
"What do you mean bad man" he asked concerned
We walked through the doors and one of my fathers guards was walking up to us
"Lady Alexandra and Lord Antonio" he bowed "King Barclay is waiting in the study for you guys" he escorted us even if it was a few seconds away from us
We walked in a saw five unfamiliar faces.
"Ahh there are my children" he walked to us "this is princess Alexandra and prince Antonio" he pointed at us "children these are the Mikaelsons"
I curtsy and Antonio bowed and they did the same
"Well I'll leave you guys to talk amongst each other well I arrange a ball" my father walked out of the study
A beautiful blonde girl walked up to me
"I'm Rebekah" she smiled at us "this is Finn" she pointed to a guy with the darkest brown hair "Elijah" a brown headed guy with his hair just a little shorter then Finns "Niklaus" he was blonde just like the girl "then Kol" he looked younger then the rest of the boys
"Alexandra but you can call me Alex" I smiled at them "and this is my brother Antonio" he waved at them
"Nice to meet you love" Niklaus kissed the back of my hand
"We're going to be great friends I just know" Rebekah said looking at me and I nodded
I need friends I don't have any and she seems to be nice, loving and friendly.
"Thank you for welcoming us into your town" Elijah bowed
"No problem make yourself at home" Antonio said
"It looks like a ravishing town" Finn said looking out the window
"Princess; Emilio is here a would like to see you" Charlotte said interrupting us
She was a maid but I don't treat her like one because I believe no one should be treated like this
I groaned "can you tell that twat no"
"Alexandra" Antonio yelled
I sighed "tell him I have company and can not speak at the moment" I rolled my eyes
"Yes ma'am" she walked out
"Who is Emilio" Rebekah asked
"Just this guy I have to marry" I turned back to the family
"Why must you marry him" she was shocked by my words
"Because father says it's what's best for me" I mocked his words
She nodded before she said anything else we heard yelling
"I just want a second to speak to her" I'm guess that was Emilio.
There walks Emilio into the study with us
"Ugh there you are, come" he gestured his hand to the door
I put my head down and walked to the door
"I hope to see you guys again soon" I said before Emilio put his hand on my lower back and pushed me out
We went into my room
"Why must you be difficult" he pushed me harshly to the ground
I looked up at him "what did I do now" I asked terrified
"Must lie to me always" with that he walked out of my room leaving me confused
