Violet skies in the night
Shining bright on this pavement
I thought I felt something at my feet
But walked towards the horizon
The atmosphere was warm
Overwhelmingly warm
I turned around and took one glance
A Petal by the door
It was the petal I left behind
Curiosity creeps on me
and left me to walk towards the door
Standing behind was your pretty face
I'm here at last
and so are you
So I'll hold you in my arms
and we'll dance in the rain
I'll look at the violet sky
and back at you
These petals will never grow grey
Nor old
Because time will freeze
When I'm alone together
With you
