A ten months Reva/Reya old was creating a ruckus for her father.
Crawling everywhere around the house rather than having her food seemed more entertaining for the little baby.
A tired Reyansh walked after her with a bowl of cerelac and a drool towel carelessly hanging on his shoulder.
Arya had an important presentation today and Reyansh happily took his father duties.
How hard will it be to handle a 10 month old baby, right?
He did it every time all day with Arya. But this time he was going to do it all alone.
He shouldn't have underestimated his daughter. Right now, she was giving him a hard time.
Even though Arya prepared everything for his ease, nothing was happening accordingly.
The food she was supposed to eat two hours earlier was now being fed to her, courtesy of Reyansh who fell asleep midway listening to a lullaby for the baby.
"Eat it Reya."
However little Reya pushed the spoon away.
"Ma....mummaa. "
"Yes yes she'll be home soon. I want mumma too. "
"Mummaaaaa...." She wailed loudly. Shaking her little table and chair.
"Hush hush. Don't cry Reya. Look I'm calling mumma. " He wiped the tears and grabbed his phone which ultimately was taken away by her.
The device looked huge in her small hands.
"You want to talk to her? Here let me call her. "
Just as he was about to press dial, the phone rang and Arya's name popped up. She was video calling them.
"Hey! We were just about to call you. " Reyansh picked her up so that they both could be in the frame.
"Good thing I called then. What are you both upto? "
"We were just having food. " He showed her a bowl filled with baby food.
"Now? It's two hours past her eating time. " She glanced at the clock.
"Yeah! We slept off. " Reyansh lied smoothly, partially blaming his daughter who was quietly listening to and seeing her mother.
"It's okay. I'll be home in another hour or so. Take care of him and yourself too okay. Mumma will be back soon Vivi. "
The little baby let out a small laugh seeing her mother calling her name.
Soon after the call was cut, Reya happily ate her food after making her father miserable for another half an hour.
