(Frederick's POV)

It had only been 3 minutes sense Lola had left and Holly was still getting her things

I was sitting on my couch, when the loud someone started pounding on the front door

I quickly got up and opened it

Infront of me stood and soaking wet Lola and Edgar

Edgar had his limp arm, handing over Lola's right shoulder

He was bleeding from his lip, nose, and eyebrow

The blood dripping from his shoulder was diluted with water

While he had his left arm, propping himself up on Lola's side, his right arm was holding the left side of his ribs

His eye was a mixture of reds, blues, and purples

It was swollen shut

"What the hell happened?" I asked Lola

"I don't know, I was walking out and I found him like this, leaning against the side of the building" Lola, grunted as water dripped down her body

"Come inside, I'll get you guys something warm" I told her

"No, I need you to get me a first aid kit. I'm sure he has at least four broken ribs and his wounds need tending" she said, wattling past me, with Edgar by her side

He grunted in pain, as Lola set him down on the couch

"Get me warm water, some blankets, towel, first aid kit, and some warm tea" she listed off, as she took Edgar's tattered shirt off

"I-I'm fine" he groaned

"No, no you're not. Whoever did this, knew exactly where to hit you, so that you would have any fatel blows" Lola said to him

Edgar didn't say anything

"Tell me, who did this?" Se asked, pushing her fingers down softly against his side

He grunted, when she touched one of his ribs

"I'm sorry, this is going to hurt and it's going to hurt a lot" she said to him

"Go get what I asked you to get" she snapped at me

I could tell she was pissed off at me, but right now all she cared about was Edgar

"You'll be okay" I whispered to my oldest friend and then walked away

(Lola's POV)

I was walking out of Frederick's home, when I saw a man on the floor, leaning against the side of the wall

The rain was pouring down and

I quickly ran over to him and looked into his eyes

I couldn't believe it

It was Frederick's chauffeur, Edgar

"Oh my god" I said, trying to find his pulse

It was there, but it was very faint

"Damn it!" I growled, loudly

He was limp against the wall, with one of his eyes swollen shut

"Can you hear me?" I asked, over the rain

He nodded his head

"Alright, I'm going to check your rubs, tell me if it hurts" I said

He nodde his head again
