Alright here we are welcome to my take on The Doors

So The Doors were an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1965. The lineup consists of lead singer Jim Morrison, guitarist Robby Krieger, organist Ray Manzarek, and drummed John Densmore. In '67 they released their self titled album with songs like Break on Through (To The Other Side) and Light My Fire being a hit. They went on to make Strange Days (1967), Waiting For The Sun (1968), The Soft Parade (1969), Morrison Hotel (1970), and L.A. Woman (1971) with Jim Morrison before he died in July of 1971 in Paris of what is said to be heart failure. The surviving three members made Other Voices (1971) and Full Circle (1972) along with Jim Morrison reading his poetry over Doors songs called An American Prayer (1978) before disbanding in 1978. They would play together, like for their 1993 induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, before Ray Manzarek died in 2013

It's absolutely no secret that The Doors are my favorite band. No questions asked, The Doors are my favorite band.

We could end it right there but nah

Something I find cool is that The Doors never really had a bass player until L.A. Woman. The bass player was basically Ray. Freaking brilliant

Y'all I discovered this yesterday but in Roadhouse Blues Jim actually says "Do it Robby, do it!" Like seriously Robby is an amazing guitarist and hardly gets any recognition

And don't even get me started on John-

Oh boy, that movie though. We won't talk about it

Like with my Pink Floyd one, I'm at a crossroads on if I like their earlier stuff or newer stuff better. I love Strange Days and The Doors (1967), but L.A. Woman might seal the deal for me that whole album is something else. Now, let's discuss my favorite songs from The Doors
