Love?!

Chapter 1

Leah had sat at her computer for hours trying to come up with an reasonable essay to apply to college however she had no luck. Her screen was blank she couldn't imagine love. All she remembered are the young days of her childhood where her parents constantly fought. She saw the vile beating her mother had received from her dad in the back of her head. This made a small tear slither down her cheek. But she felt happier when she remembered her and her mum where safe from him now as he had recently passed away from a poisonous ulsters in his stomach obviously she wasn't happy he was gone after all he was her dad. They hadn't attended the funeral for two reasons one that hated him so bad they felt like he didn't deserve their presence at his funeral and two his funeral took place some place in India where his parents lived. Leah stared at the empty page daydreaming of her future... That was soon interrupted by the sweet soft voice of her mother calling her for lunch. The only reason she still stayed with her mother is because she had hated the thought of her dear, sweet mother being alone. There was no point trying to find her a partner her brain was nowhere near ready to date another man also the flats to rent were so expensive and the only payment her mother needed was care and time and she could give a lot of that. She stared back at the screen her mind empty. Normally her essay's were done in a flash but for some reason this one just seemed a struggle. She decided to read a few articles to help inspire her but still after 10 articles nothing. She read a 345 paged romance story and still nothing. She soon gave up and went downstairs and her mother sighed and gently said" I called you 3 hours ago, please don't tell me you are still working on that stupid application." 

Leah couldn't lie her mum knew her too well, but that didn't stop her making an excuse. By 8pm she had wrote Love??????????. By this point she had given up, she couldn't be bothered to waste her time staring at a screen not moving muscle. She hated being in a deep thought and for some reason that was all she was doing. The cold breeze that flew around the room snapped her out of her deep thought all of a sudden it hit her not the wind but what she needed to complete her essay all her essays before were simple like fear she had experienced fear before at town when there was a shooter and she was held at gunpoint and hunger she had felt hunger for nicotine when she tried to stop smoking for her mothers sake but she couldn't do it instead she grew a stronger ache for it so she started to secretly smoke it until her mum realised that her daughter would have a chunk of her money missing. At first glance you wouldn't think a girl like Leah would smoke she was pale with rosy cheeks and always wore bright clothes. Anyways back to the point she knew what she had to do Leah wasn't a girl to date but if she ever did she knew and everyone else knew she could get any guy she wanted with a click of her finger. Her plan was to hook up with the football captain and use him for her essay then dump him though it sounds bad she couldn't help it a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
