Chapter Twenty Five

"this is my room"
"you get to have your own room on a private yacht?"
"yeah?"
"damn, if this was ours Thomas would have forced me to share a room with nick or Ryland."

"this is my bathroom"
"your bathroom looks more expensive than my car"
I laughed.
"I don't come here a lot. Most of the time Lia take over my stuff"

We then walked further into the yacht. I showed him my dad's office and his and Marie's bedroom and bathroom. Then it was Liam and Lia bedrooms. Their playroom. And their shared bathroom. Then my mom's room.

"your mom gets to have her own room?"
Chase asked surprised which made me chuckle.
"yeah. Mom and Marie are like bestest of friends and they come here a lot. Even though my mom is like forty nine and Marie is like thirty they're really close"

Chase looked amazed by everything I showed him. I kinda feel like I shouldn't have gotten him here. Now he's gonna think I'm some spoiled ass rich bitch when I don't even take a penny from my dad.

"so, what do you think?"
I asked nervously as we walked to the back of the yacht again, hand in hand.
"I'm really thinking about saving the money go get one of these. Like you could have the dopest parties on here!"
He was so excited which made me smile. He looks cute.
"I know. The thing is I would rather make my own money than using dad's"
I said with a shrug.

"you're beautiful"
He said suddenly making my cheeks redden a little.

Before I could even respond a song started playing. By now we were way too far from the land to be seen.

Heart beats fast
Colors and promises

We both smiled at the song. He gave me his hand with a smile. I took it, keeping eye contact with a smile of my own. We started dancing. His hands on my waist and my hands around his neck.

"what?"
I asked when he just kept staring at my eyes with the same smile. I could feel my whole body heating.
"it's just.. Wow.. You don't even know what you're doing to me"

Time stands still
Beauty in all she is

What's standing in front of me

Every hour has come to this
One step closer

I leaned in and placed a little kiss on his lips.
"you don't know what you're doing to me. Before this, I thought I would never be able to commit again"
I told him truthfully.

"do you wanna know a secret?"
He asked and leaned down, connecting our foreheads. I nodded slowly.
"I'm so scared right now"
I looked at him in confusion.
"if this is all a dream and I wake up without you in my arms, I'm never getting out of bed"
From the way he was looking right through my soul. I know he's being more than serious.

I kissed his lips.
"I want you to promise me something, chase"

"anything for you"

"please don't leave me for someone else. I promised myself that I'm not trusting guys ever again and I broke my promise for you. Please don't make me regret it"
I know my eyes were getting glossier with every word but I just had to ask him that. He stared at me for a while, examining my eyes like they were the hardest puzzle he's ever seen.
"I promise you, annastasia rose white, that I will never ever leave you for somebody else. No matter who. You are the most perfect woman my eyes have ever laid on. I'm not like them"
He finished with a kiss to my forehead. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

He's not like them.

Just as his lips parted from my forehead, the song ended. We both gave each other calm smiles

"dinner is ready"
A middle aged woman came from the kitchen and said with a smile.
"thank you. please get it here, we will eat in the air"
She nodded and left.

Chase suddenly laughed.
"you're so hot when you get like that"
I smiled feeling my cheeks heating for the millionth time.
"like what"
He shrugged
"I don't know.. Bossy"

In the matter of twenty minutes there was a table set up for two with candles and flowers.

"hopefully you like sea food"
I said with a smile
"of course"
He replied with a smile too

For the whole dinner we talked about everything. Work. Friends. Family. Random shit. But then I popped the question.

"what are we?" he gave me a confused look "chase, last time we had this conversation you asked for time to be able to decide. We took everything with your rate. I need to know. I'm not trying to rush you into anything I promise. But I just... I felt like we need to talk about this"

Long silence

He looked everywhere but at me. My heart dropped at his sudden nervousness
