Chapter 2: Gone again

(Y/N's p.o.v.)
Mom and dad came back about a week or two later after it happened. As they walked in, their big smiles and happy faces went away.
" Dear, what's wrong?"
" Nothing." I mumble, holding Jessabell in my arms.
" Are you sick?"
" No."
" Do you have a headache?"
" No, I'm fine!"
They stepped back. Sighing, I got up and went to my room. As I shut the door, I rub my head, stress taking over.
" I can't believe this is happening. "
I flopped on my bed and sighed heavily.
My phone rang and I looked at the caller ID. It said, "unknown". I hit the call button and slowly brought the phone to my ear.
" Hello?"
" Hello, My dear."

It was him.

" I thought I told you to-!"
" Leave you alone. Yes, I know, but weather you did it on purpose or not i still have to keep in touch."
I groaned and tried to hang up, but it didn't work.
" You can't hang up unless I want you to, dear."
I growled in annoyance and snapped.
" Would you just beat it!!! I don't want anything from you, you slimy serpent!!"
He went silent for a moment then he hung up. I sighed and looked at Jessabell. She meowed and when I went to pet her, my wrist was grabbed. I looked and saw an angry Lucifer. I jerked my wrist away and Jessabell hissed.
" That was quite rude of you to say." He hissed.
" Well you can't take a hint!!"
" And neither can you!! I can't leave until we make a deal or you die!!"
I groan and lay down, turning my back to him. It was silent then he spoke.
" Rest. Goodbye for now."
I sigh and turn to ses he was gone. A knock came from my door.
" Honey, how about we go out to eat."
I smiled and get dressed. We go out together. We eat at a pizzeria then go for a nice drive. When we got home it was late. I tiredly dragged myself to my room and went to bed. They stayed home for about 2 weeks. I ran to the house, excited.
" Dad, guess what their doing at school!?"
He turned to me, in a suit with a bag. Mom walked down in a dress, also with a suitcase. My smile dropped.
" Are you serious?"
" (Y/N), im sorry, but-!"
" You have to go?" I crumble up the paper for the father and daughter festival they were doing at school and threw it at him.
" Then just go! Nothing I'm not use to!"
I storm to my room and slam the door.
" (Y/N), please we-!"
" Just shut up and leave!!!"
There was silence then the front door shut. I slide to the ground and sigh. I stay up late and sit in my room as night comes around. Suddenly, thunder booms and I jump. It was lonely and the storm was harsh outside. I look down and shake slightly. Jessabell sits in my lap and I gently pet her head. The rain hit harder on the quiet house, filling the silence. I hesitate then look around the dark room.
".....Lucifer.....are you there....can you hear me?"
A soft wind blew and the room and there he was, standing in front of me. He had a neutral look in his eyes and an indifferent facial expression.
" You called?"
I slowly nodded. His raised his eyebrows slightly.
" Yes?"
"......Can......you stay here for the night?"
He looked at me with a confused look.
".....Excuse me?"
" I don't want to be alone."
" What about you parents?"
" They left. You know what, nevermind."
I laid down on my bed and covered up, curling into a ball. He was quiet then i felt him sit on the bed. I looked over at him and he looked down at me.
" Ill stay."
I cracked a small smile before turning back on my side. I flinched at the sound of the thunder.
" Scared of storms?"
" More of the thunder."
There was a brief silence before I felt him lay down.
" Dont get use to this. Believe it or not, I am married."
I felt him hold me, I went to say something, but with the loudest lighting strike, I turned over and clung to him, shaking violently. He held me close and he shushes me softly.
" Sleep tight, dear."
I closed my eyes and tried to sleep. Slowly, I went to sleep and snuggled into him. The next morning, I woke up and he was still there, asleep. I sat up and slowly got up without waking him. I cooked breakfast and woke him up. He looked at me.
" I....made breakfast if you want some."
He stands and we go downstairs. After eating, he gets ready to leave.
" Thank you. It wasn't half bad." He said.
" Ill take that as complement and move on."
He nodded.
" One more thing."
He turned to me and i sighed.
" Dont get use to this."
I kissed his nose and move away.
" Goodbye."
He blinked and stood there a moment before clearing his throat.
" G-Goodbye."
With that he was gone.

(Lucifer's p.o.v.)
I got home and was immediately meant with Lilith.
" Lucifer! Where were you!?"
" I told you I had work to do in the human world. Calm down."
She sighs. " Well you're breakfast is waiting for you in the dining room."
" No thank you dear. Im not hungry."
I headed to my office. It was quiet and I could still feel the warmth on (Y/N's) lips on my nose. I sigh and look down.
" What the fuck have i gotten myself into?"
Lilith walks in and smiles at me.
" Hello, dear."
" Hello. What is it?"
" I wanted to see if needed anything?~" she purred.
Usually I would love her attention right now......but.....i didn't really care for it right now.
" No thank you, Lilith."
She looks at me shocked. I sighed and rubbed my head.
" Lucifer, what happened in the human world? Did a soul get away or something?"
" No. Don't worry about it."
I stood and left the room.
