Chapter 18 - Jangjun has a plan again

With that he shook his head and closed the door behind him. Meanwhile Jibeom and Hwayoung looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh.

"I think we should actually clean up.", Hwayoung said still laughing. 

"To be honest, white hair really suits you." 

"We just both look good in white."

The two started cleaning and to be honest they could have been actually fast if they just wouldn't spend so much time talking and joking around. 

"This song is really good.", Jibeom suddenly said making Hwayoung laugh. 

"Duh, it's your own song." 

"It's still good.",Jibeom replied. When his eyes fell onto Hwayoung, who softly sang to 'Thank You', he somehow build up courage to do the next move. Carefully he took her hands which were still covered in flour and put his own arm around her waist. Slowly the two rocked back and forth to the song and Hwayoung couldn't help but smile. 

Slow - dancing in the kitchen was something Hwayoung never imagined, and definitely not with Jibeom to 'Thank You'. But now she thought this was perfect. She didn't want this moment to end. All she wanted right now was to hold his hands and dance together. 

When the song ended both stood still not daring to get out of each other's embrace first. Hwayoung looked directly into Jibeom's eyes and could see how a single tear rolled down his cheeks. Softly she wiped it away with her thumb. 

"Thank you.", Jibeom whispered not trusting his voice. He was so happy he was able to just hold her like that even though he knew there would probably be nothing more than friendship. "Thank you for still believing in me even after I treated you like that." 

"I'll always believe in you.", Hwayoung said without even having to think about that. She'd always support him. Years ago she had tried to forget him, forget her feelings for him but now that she stood there with him, she wasn't so sure about that anymore. Hwayoung had promised to suppress her feelings but now she could feel herself falling for him again. 

"Has anyone seen Jangjun Hyung?", Donghyun asked when he entered the living room. When Donghyun woke up that day Jangjun's bed was empty and Joochan didn't know either where he was. 

"No.", Sungyoon answered and Youngtaek shook his head as well. 

"Maybe he's dead." 

"Probably got killed by Hwayoung."

"Finally peace.", Joochan said but right at this moment Jangjun entered the room. 

"I heard that.", he simply said clearly in a way too good mood to hit Joochan. Surprised the boys turned to him. 

"Were have you been?", Seungmin asked curious. 

"Here and there." 

"Since when are you in such a good mood?", Donghyun asked clearly suspicious his friend was this happy. In the morning. 

"Since then and now." 

"What happened?", Jaehyun asked getting impatient. 

"This and that." 

"Boy, you are really testing our patience right now.", Sungyoon said and raised an eyebrow. Meanwhile Jangjun was already about to leave the room again and met Bomin who just woke up. 

"Have a very good morning, my friend!" 

Confused Bomin looked back and forth between Jangjun and the other members. 

"That was scary." 

When Siyeon woke up that day, the other bedside was empty and cold. At first she thought Hwayoung went out to see the sunrise again but then she remembered what had happened yesterday. She sat up and searched the room but Jangjun was not around. 

Did I dream all this?, she asked herself. Slowly she let herself fall into the pillows again and winced. She had accidently put weight on her wrist. 

"It was not a dream.", Siyeon whispered in surprise as she held her hand. But if not, where was Jangjun? 

As if on cue the door opened and Jangjun stepped inside the room. In his hands he held tray with two cups and plates on it. Almost shy he put it down next to Siyeon and sat down beside her. Siyeon's gaze first wandered to Jangjun and then to the tray. Various kinds of fruits were in a bowl and on the plates were pancakes and croissants. Even muffins were there. 

"Wow.", Siyeon said in shock. "You did this for me?" 

Jangjun fiddled with his fingers clearly nervous. "I hoped you'd like it. At first I wondered if you even eat breakfast but then I was like 'of course, you eat with us for the past weeks' and then I wondered what you eat. I even had to steal the muffins from Jibeom and Hwayoung and-" 

Siyeon quickly shut him up with a small kiss on his cheek making him bush furiously. 

"I love it.", she whispered and a shiver ran down his spine at her raspy morning voice. She took his hand and couldn't believe it. 

"Here, try it.", Jangjun said and gestured at the pancakes. Curious Siyeon took a bite and her eyes widenes at the taste. 

"Did you make them? They're great." 

"I'm glad you like it.", Jangjun said and smiled at watching Siyeon eat. He wasn't in a relationship before or had any experience on how to treat a woman right. Hell, he didn't even know how he should ask Siyeon to be his girlfriend officially. To say the boy was nervous was an understatement. 

When he woke up this morning, he was really shocked to hold Siyeon in his arms. He almost fell out of the bed but fortunately for him, Siyeon was a heavy sleeper. After he had exited the room a big smile had been on his face and he wondered how to make Siyeon happy. He even called his own mother who of course immediately noticed her son was in love. 

"Aren't you going to eat?", Siyeon asked worried when she noticed Jangjun was awfully quiet. He took his plate as well and together the two enjoyed their breakfast laughing and just talking. 

"If Jibeom and Hwayoung don't end up together, I'll go crazy.", Siyeon said after Jangjun had told her how he had caught the two dancing together in the kitchen and stole some muffins. 

"Do you think they have a crush on each other?", Jangjun asked clearly oblivious to the looks the two gave each other. 

"Of course. I mean, it's obvious. How did you know I had a crush on you?" 

"I didn't." 

"My point is-", Siyeon said. "these two have been flirting so much the past few days and when Hwayoung was young she had a crush on him. I honestly doubt she's over him." 

"Hwayoung had a crush on him? Did she tell him?" 

"He rejected her.", Siyeon answered and laughed at Jangjun's shocked face. The boy clearly didn't really know much about love and crushes. He suddenly remembered the evening Siyeon and Bomin had told the boys about Hwayoung's and Jibeom's ruined friendship. They never added this part of the story but now everything made much more sense. 

"He's an idiot.", Jangjun said and Siyeon could only agree. She didn't know what to think about Jibeom yet, he was funny and kind, but he had broken her best friends heart. At the same time Hwayoung had been happier than usual the past few days making Siyeon wonder if he really made her happy. 

It was silent for a while between them. Siyeon was still wondering how she got so lucky to be here with Jangjun while Jangjun was creating a plan in his head on how to make the two end up together. 

"I have a plan." 

"Does it involve kidnapping again?" 

"Maybe."
