Lacie walked to Josie's room and she overheard what Josie said to her mother

"But mother.. he's not a nice boy," said Josie as she tried her best to retain her crying from getting worse

After Josie said that She walked into josies room

"Sorry to intrude Mrs Pye but If it's alright with you I would like to speak to Josie?"

Mrs Pye looked at Lacie as she smiled

"Sure at least the red head didn't mess up your brain," muttered Mrs Pye as she walked out

"Josie I know-"

"You knew about this did you?" Asked Josie as she looked forward "I should have known to not trust you,"

"Josie I told him not to do it," said Lacie as she tried to speak on a lower tone before sitting next to Josie

"Listen billy may not be the nicest boy in the world and believe me for a person who has been his friend since the age of 7,"

"You don't get it do you?" Asked Josie as she looked at Lacie "billy likes you, he even admitted it a few months back,"

"Josie.."

"No it's alright, I just wished it wasn't all over Avonlea," said Josie "he hurt me Lacie,"

After Josie said that she hugged Lacie, which Lacie gave back,

"If you want I can talk some sense into both Anne and billy," said Lacie as she tried to cheer Josie up

Josie laughed before wiping her face

"I just need billy to apologize to me, and I certainly want Anne to learn her lesson,"

"Listen I'll talk sense into Anne but revenge is never the answer," stated Lacie "well I better get going I just wanted to come over to see if you were alright,"

"Thank Lacie... you really aren't all that bad as I thought," said Josie as she smiled

"Hey you got to get to know me before making assumptions," said Lacie before she walked out

It was the next day and Lacie was getting ready to head over to the Andrews. She wanted to immediately talk with billy after what happened with Josie and next it was going to be Anne.

Lacie arrived at the Andrews household as she knocked on the door, prissy was the first to answer it

"Why hello Lacie what brings you here?" Asked prissy as she smiled while hugging the girl

"Yes I was wondering if I could speak with billy?" Asked Lacie as she came in

"Sure," said prissy as she went to fetch her brother and within seconds he came to Lacie

"What did you want to talk to me about?" Asked billy as he looked at Lacie

Lacie sighed

"Why did you do that to Josie?" Asked Lacie as she looked up at him

"Are you forgetting that I did it for us?" Asked billy

"You hurt Josie billy," said Lacie as she tried to not raise her voice at the boy "right now she's at home crying because of what you did to her,"

"Look I'll apologize if only you give us a chance," said billy as he gestured at the two of them at the word us

Lacie rolled her eyes as she thought for a bit. She really did want for billy to apologize to Josie, but Lacie was already dating someone.

"Fine! I'll just break it off with River, now will you apologize to Josie?"

"Yes I will, I'll do it now if you want,"

"That's more like it now I have to go to green gables so I'll see you later," Said Lacie as she walked out of the house she could not believe that she was dating Billy Andrews

"What did I put myself through?" Asked Lacie as she muttered to herself before shrugging it off and walking away

Sorry if that ending was weird but anyway I hope you liked this chapter, but there are a few chapters left and I have the perfect ending for it so I will probably end it at chapter 25 or something like that but anyway hopefully this was good and I'll write later
