Larysa was ordinary... once.
But like waves crashing onto the shore and sparks in a fire that eventually die, darkness soon plagued over her and the skies of her first home, Shu Han. A true phenomenon, for never had a somber day existed in their history. And it would be unforgettably known as the day Makhi Kir-Taban took the throne for herself. Not long after, as she settled into her reign, would she step across the creaking foyer of the Koba Orphanage with unwavering shadows at her sides to pick up where they'd last left off. Little Larysa knew this day would come, but not as quickly as it did, nor was she the slightest bit prepared for what it would unlock.
A truth buried in her blood— she was a manipulator of wind, a Squaller... a Grisha, a forthcoming tempest Makhi planned to control. In her perfect world she might, but theirs was not, and if Larysa could guarantee one thing it was this:

author's note: timeline? idk her. keyen is already dead, for the sake of this story, & makhi is already queen bc i wanna show how far she's willing to go hehe, though really it's all more so for backstory until rule of wolves ( 😼😼 ) is released ( march30 🙏 ) & we get more of that segsy plot & i can hopefully do more w rysa's shu han roots bc it's not mentioned as much & should be !! but anyway, please enjoy & lmk what you think !!
