When I was a baby my parents left me at an orphanage in a small town in Illinois without a trace. I spent the first 9 years of my life in that orphanage until a man, who I knew as Doctor Pavel Volkov, came to adopt me and moved us to a lab disguised as a home in the countryside of Russia. He trained and strengthened me, After a year he started the "experiments." he tried to recreate the super-solider serum. One day we were working in the lab during a storm, a lightning bolt hit the house and charged into me, giving me the power of electric manipulation. the shock from the bolt nearly killed Doctor Volkov and he became ill. He made a deal with hydra and gave me to them in return for care. I was 13 at the time and they made me work as an assassin for 5 years before I escaped. I stole as much of their work as i could to look over and decide what to do next. then I was 19 years old and it was 2011. I went to SHIELD and proved I didn't mean harm and needed help. After that I was recruited to SHIELD by Nick Fury and trained. Once I was ready I was sent on missions around the galaxy and in August 2013 I got sent to work with the Avengers and became one. Now, it's 2014 (before cap tws takes place) and I'm living in Avengers tower as a member of the Avengers.
