"Don't worry," Timothée said grimly. "I'm planning on coming back to England when I graduated Beauxbatons."

June turned to look at him. "Why?"

"To fight Voldemort of course," he said, as matter-of-factly. "You don't think I'd leave you hanging here?"

"Well, you're always welcome with us if you need a place to stay," June said.

"Thanks, I'll hold you onto that."

"Black," a voice said, and the two of them looked up to see a seventh year Slytherin.

"Yeah?" June said.

"Snape wants you in his office."

Juniper exchanged a suprised glance with Timothée before standing up. "Okay."

She stood up and made her way towards the dungeons while mentally going off all the things she had done ever since she got discharged from the hospital wing that might have gotten her in trouble. Nothing came to her mind. She and the twins hadn't been active lately so that couldn't be it.

Maybe a bad homework she handed it? No, she always had high marking in Potions.

Juniper still didn't have a clue why he wanted to see her when she arrived at the door of his office. She raised her arm and nodded three times.

"Come in," the muffled voice of Snape said.

June took a deep breath, before pushing the door open. She stuck her head into the room and saw him sitting behind his desk.

"You wanted to see me, Professor?"

"Yes," he said, nodding at the chair in front of him. "Sit."

June closed the door behind her and sat down on the chair.

For a moment, neither one of them spoke up. They simply looked at each other. June shuffled nervously onto her seat.

"I am the one who send you that photograph of your father," he eventually said, making June raise her eyebrows.

"Did you know him, then?" she questioned him curiously.

"He was my friend," Snape said, his eyes darting to the fireplace that was lit. He seemed lost in his thoughts. Then, he looked back at her. "I thought you might wanted to have it."

"Thank you," June said, smiling slightly. "I greatly appreciate it."

Snape hesitated, the first time June had seen him done so. He wasn't one to hesitate and always knew what he wanted.

"Is there something else, Professor?" she quietly asked him.

"Yes," he said, before taking a deep breath and continuing, "I am your godfather."

Juniper didn't reply. She simple stared at him, her eyes wide and her mouth slightly open. It took her some time to find some words she could say.

"That was not what I was expecting to hear," she eventually said, leaning back in her chair.

Snape frowned. "What did you think I would say?"
