The accident was nothing short of terrifying. I had thought that death would have been beautiful; but when you're immortal, death doesn't happen often. Unlike the mortals perceptions of us, we can die. Nothing is ever truly immortal. There are many misconceptions with the way of the immortal witches; we can put our souls in material items to preserve or protect it. Immortal vessels CAN die, its a complicated process but it can happen; keep in mind that not all witches are immortal. Although we can die, there is a process of rebirth. Our souls and memories switch to another vessel. The more we die, the stronger we become in our powers. And this is where my story begins.

I was born in a coven of celestial witches in the sweet lands of France. My life was always based around the moon, stars, and elements. We were a very small coven, despite our popularity among the other witches. We held full moon gatherings with the tribal and herbal witches of our lands. My parents despised the gatherings, due to the intense energy draining the rituals would cause. I was forced to go by the other members because I was one of the 2 immortals in our coven.

Things in my life were great. Sure, we have had our share of witch hunter attacks, but so did every other coven. When I was 1800, there was one attack that I will never forget. It was my birthday and the coven celebrated with sun, moon, and star rituals, music, and other covens joined in. The hunters had their eyes on us since the beginning, so, they had decided that today would have been the perfect day to strike. The sun was in its peak and we were happily dancing around a circle of mushrooms, singing the song of the fae. First, it was a quiet click. Then was louder. Loud enough to move the ground we walk on. There was rupture in the trees, in the mountains, even the stars could hear the sound of the yells. Masses of hunters emerged from the forest with only one mission; to kill. There were no survivors of this attack.

When I woke up, I had remembered everything. The screams, the blood, the bone breaking shreiks of the guns. It was so vivid and brutal. I had no one left; not one person. Everyone I loved had died that day. I look around only to find that I had ended up in a forest. Somewhere I had never been before. It was warm outside, but not too warm. Standing up, I notice I have on a long gown and long dark hair. This is not what I was expecting to look like, but it will do. The faint smell of home cooked bread filled my senses, resulting in my realization of how hungry I was.
