XII. The battle of Sokovia pt. 1

"Do you see the beauty of it?" Ultron said. "The inevitability. You rise, only to fall." Skylar was listening to what Ultron was saying while cutting a bot's head off.

"You. Avengers. You are my meteor, my swift and terrible sword. And the earth will crack with the weight of your failure." One of the bots eyes turned red and that meant Ultron was talking into it.

Skylar looked right at it. "Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me." She  threw her chakram at the bot  so it could shut up but Ultron was still speaking.

"It means nothing. When the dust settles. The only thing living in this world will be metal."

Skylar had 2 rows of bots coming towards her. She lifted chakram with her powers so it was floating and blasted them each in the chest with it.

She then saw Steve get thrown by an Ultron onto a car.

"Cap you got incoming." Tony said. "Incoming already came in." Steve said weakly.

Skylar laughed slightly. She saw one of Ultron's bots come for what looked like two siblings, it tried shooting at them but Skylar shielded them.

She led them to them to a nearest place to hide.

"Stark, you worry about bringing the city down safely. The rest of us have one job. Tear these things apart. you get hurt, hurt 'em back and if you get killed, walk it off." Steve told the rest of the team.

Skylar was tearing apart bots by limb so they could collapse. Clint grabbed her and Wanda and jumped through a window. Skylar groaned in pain but she got up. Wanda on the other hand, crawled into a space and started to panic.

"Hey, hey, you okay?"

"How could I let this happen? This is all our fault." Wanda panicked.

"Hey, look at me. It's your fault, everyone's fault who cares? Are you up for this? Are you? Look, I just need to know because the city is flying." Clint said to the girl. "Okay, the city is flying, we're fighting an army of robots, and I have bow and arrow. None of this makes sense." He paused to shoot an arrow that caused an explosion.

"But I'm going out there because it's my job. And I can't do my job and babysit. It doesn't matter what you did or who you were. If you're here you're good, I'll send your brother to come find you, but if you step out that door, you are an Avenger."

"Alright good chat." Clint said before him and Skylar stood up. He grabbed a box looking thing from his ankle and pressed it, more than 3 arrows came out of it.

Skylar exhaled. "Yeah the city is flying." She said before Clint kicked the door open and they went to the fight.

Steve heard a woman screaming and then saw her car was nearly off of the edge. Steve tried getting a hold at the end of the car but it fell. Then Thor came and grabbed her hand. He nodded to her a threw her up to Steve.

He caught her. "I got you!" He said. "Just look at me." Steve got the girl back up to the top but an ultron tried to attack her but Steve acted first by throwing his shield in it.

"You can't save them all."  Ultron said. "You'll never—" Steve brought his shield back to him which made the ultron fall. "You'll never what? You didn't finish!" He said.

Thor then flew up. "What were you napping?" Steve asked.

Skylar was trying to throw her chakram at the robots but it only worked on some. Clint shot arrows at them.

"Ow!" Clint said behind a car. Skylar groaned annoyed as more bots came.

Wanda came out of the doors and crushed all of the robots. Skylar looked surprised. "What took you so long?" She muttered.

"We're all clear here." Clint said. "We are not clear! We are very not clear!" Steve grunted through comms.

"Coming to you." Skylar said. Pietro came an picked up Wanda."Keep up old man!" He said.

"Nobody would know. Nobody." Clint said pointing his bow at him. "Last I saw him an ultron was sitting on him. Yeah..uh he'll be missed. Quick little b!stard I miss him already."

Skylar was just listening to Clint while running beside him.
