▬▭ jinchang was against the idea of his daughter pursuing her career as an idol because he knew what the girl had to go through but seeing how excited ciēn was he gave in and let her go to korea to pursue her dream as an idol . ciēn didn't really had a great time during trainee days but also had a good time because of the members and friends that she made , language barrier made everything difficult and the diets she had to go through, school works and again the exams, the practices . she wanted to give up and was too tired and drained out but seeing her friends and family cheering her up she gave in and pushed herself to go forward and to not regret the choice she took after all she has been training for 2 years and don't want to waste all the years of training and suffering she experienced.

▬▭ when ciēn debuted she was so nervous that she sat inside the toilet the whole time until they were called on stage because she was so nervous on how to face the crowd plus felt the excitement . there were a lot of hate comments towards ciēn and daseul which she was mentally prepared for because they were the only female in a male dominating group so it was natural but tried her best to not look at those and affect her mental health and stayed away from her phone for few months and any online website .

▬▭ over the years ciēn grew a lot and definitely became more open and confident towards carats where she started flirting with every carats on fansign or either at concert . she does have a hard time with the online comments towards her and makes her have a hard time dealing with it but tried to see it to the positive direction and did her best to become better by practicing hard and well to prove the haters that she is trying her best and will definitely improve .

៸៸ ❛ ciēn means graceful love and was given to her by her eldest brother tang jinling. she has two elder brother tang jinling and the middle child tang jinhai and if it was to give a full meaning with her last name it's the sweet graceful love

៸៸ ❛ ciēn came to korea in 2O13 at the age of 16 and joined pledis after getting scouted by the staffs while she was going for her taekwondo class with her two elder brothers

៸៸ ❛ in a v-live ciēn's fellow member jun revealed that ciēn's father was actually worried for ciēn because day by day she was acting like a boy because she was hanging out too much with her brothers , finding no lady-like act in her at all and often called him to make sure the girl is not going wild.

៸៸ ❛ she used to be insecure when she was in her teenage years because of her height as she was already 167cm when she was 14 years old and by the time she reached 18 she was already 172cm and people would always call her tall girl making her feel insecure but her members helped her overcome it

៸៸ ❛ ciēn claimed that if she didn't debut as an idol and found music she would become a basketball coach or either a photographer because she didn't want to involve herself in business things

៸៸ ❛ ciēn is also known for her strong background as her father is a well known person around asia for his textile business though ciēn didn't reveal it until 2O17 where she attended a business dinner with her family in korea

៸៸ ❛ she took some special class for japanese and english while she was taking korean class back at her trainee days , she improved from the past years and has a great accent but still isn't confident in it
