"And who are you exactly? I mean... i only know that you just came here two days ago and you don't even live here but yet you still interfere in our business so may i ask what is your position in this whole situation?" I ask finally because it's really frustrating how he thinks of himself as an important part of the event when clearly he isn't .

I looked at abby who looked oddly amused.

"Im her best friend" he says with a straight face, but he looked like he wanted to continue but was holding it back.

"And?" I raised my eyebrows waiting for the rest of the answer, i know i was pushing it but even if i was doing it for fun i still wanted the hidden answers so desperately. He stayed silent for a bit like rethinking about answering me, a flash of guilt on his face, as he looked down at his hands.

"My ex-boyfriend" i heard the familiar soft voice from behind me confess, my eyes widened in shock as he snapped his head up immediately, looking over my shoulder at Her. I turned my head immediately to see her standing my the doorframe, leaning against it with her arms crossed over her chest still in her pajamas.

"What?" I ask her again, praying to god she was joking.

"He is my ex" she said after sucking in a breath. My eyes looked back at abby who looked guilty as if they were hiding something.

"And ?" I ask for a continuation, that situation just didn't feel right. I know it's none of my business but you can cut the tension in this room at the moment so i think there's more depth to the story.

"I-" Adam started but was sooner cut off by Emily, my gaze turned to her as she spoke.

"I-I don't think I'm ready to talk about it" she said giving a pleading look to drop it. I nodded silently and turned my head back to look at abby who gave a small smile.

"Soo..." i heard noah trailing off " what's your guys plan for the day?" He asked the most random question seeing that the tension was still there.

"I-" Emily started but i beat her to it.

"Me and Emily are going out today" i said turning my head to look at her again as she started walking towards the fridge, she was caught off guard at first but she smiled softly and continued her walk towards her daily morning juice.

"Says who?" Adam butts into it like he always does. I haven't seen the guy more than twice and I despise him and his attitude already.

"me" Emily surprisingly said her tone was cold and her face was monotone. I looked at adam who blinked twice like he didn't imagine she would snap at him like that.

I heard someone clear their throat having my attention as i looked ahead of me to see abby smiling awkwardly.

"Where?" She asks trying to catch up with the conversation trying to make this whole situation less awkward.

"It's a surprise" i grin looking at Emily who just poured herself some juice and walked to stand to my right.

"A Surprise?" She asked confusion written all over her face. She looked so innocent, her bright grey eyes blinking a bit making her look like an angel with the sunlight hitting her eyes.

"Mhmm" I nodded biting my bottom lip to hide my grin. She looked ahead of her with a slight blush creeping up to her cheeks, making her look even cuter. I couldn't lift my gaze of her, she was so beautiful, I tried to take in her features as much as i can, scanning her like im gonna print this vision in my head.

A sound of someone clearing their throat snapped me out of it before I could even say anything, i shifted my gaze to the source of the irritating sound to find it none other than the creep sitting at the corner.
