I shut the door behind me and rested my back against it, closing my eyes and letting the memories of yesterday flood in my brain. My heart clenched at the thought of him with someone else but again i need to remind myself that if he's happy then i am. I moved off the door and did my morning deeds.

After finishing I softly turned the door knob and opened the door. Surprisingly he was no where in sight but his shirt was no longer on the chair so i bet he threw it on and went downstairs.

"Thank you, sounded better coming from you" she paused biting her bottom lip and turned around walking to the bathroom without waiting for my reaction. I stared at her back until she shut the door. When she said those simple words my heart started thumbing against my chest, her words were soft and meaningful. It's like she knew the battles i fight between me and myself and how my insecurities ruin me from the inside.

I let out an exhale of a breath I didn't realize i was holding and threw my back against the bed, laying there with my eyes closed. Memories flooding from yesterday, me pushing strands of her soft hair behind her ear, wiping her tears. How she looked so hurt like she was bottling a lot of things in herself and yet she's still managed to care about everyone.

I needed to tell her

I opened my eyes eventually and stood up, walking to the chair in the corner of the room where my shirt lead. I grabbed the shirt and pulled it over my head and pulling it down to cover up my abdomen. I took my phone from the nightstand and pushed it in my back pocket before walking out of the room.

I hope I don't run into that idiot because I'm in no ordinary mindset to deal with his annoying ass. I walked down the stairs and headed to the kitchen. I saw abby sitting on the counter next to Noah as I walked through the doorframe only to lay eyes on that fuck face of a human, sitting at the chair in the corner of the kitchen. when he saw me i gave him one of my ultimate fake grins and pulled my gaze off him looking at the couple in front of me.

"Good morning" abby smiled.

"Morning " I replied and walked to the island, leaning my back against it. "Hey Noah" i said looking at him with a smirk. The guy's head over heels for abby, she's all he ever talks about when she's not there.

"Hey man" he chuckled under his breath looking at his feet.

"So did you sleep well?" Abby cut the silence after a few seconds, waiting patiently for me to answer.

"Yeah i did" he nodded and looked at Adam "Emily has a really comfortable bed" i smirked as his jaw clenched, it really amuses me how he gets mad so easily.

It's fascinating

I don't know why but i just feel like there's something going on in his head when im next to her, jealousy maybe? I don't know, I'm not really a one to read people but im so fucking sure that he despises the idea of me next to her.

"Both of you slept on the same bed?" Abby asked in shock, obviously she didn't understand how Emily let me sleep next to her regarding how she's so ethical and follows certain rules in her life.

I nodded and smiled at them.

"You do understand that you're the reason why she was miserable yesterday right?" Adam spoke for the first time since i came here.

"And how's that?" I furrowed my brows, waiting impatiently for him to explain his oh so great assumptions.

"I- " pause "it was just definitely you" He struggled to answer, I smirked at him and asked the golden question i was waiting so impatiently to get out of my chest.
