“Y-You’re welcome L/N-Chan,” he stuttered out, twiddling his fingers gently together.
“Here! Take this bracelet I made for a friend for whenever I made one! You’re my new friend!” you handed the bracelet to him, his eyes shimmering with glee.
“Thank you F/N-Chan!”

Elementary school - Middle school
You had gone to a different middle school than Satori, your best friend, which was bad, the bullying had started up again. At the start, you had a bunch of friends, until they went too far since you were popular to have a crush on, they made fun of you, which made you cry. Everyone ended up distancing themselves from you, people trying to hit you up but you had your heart set on someone else. Your ex-friends poured the room-temperature milk on your head, laughing as they watched the tears emotionlessly pour down your face. It was after-school now, and you were supposed to meet Tendou afterwards, but you couldn’t let him see you like this.
“Crybaby! Haha! Dum-” you cut them off, face frozen into a blank stare now, tears still pouring down your face.
“Do you think I care…? ...You really think I care if you call me that or not,” you laughed, face twisting into an almost psychotic expression as you giggled creepily, “I don’t need you, I never did, I only need one person, so your presence in my life doesn’t affect me.”
“Eh? Liar! You wouldn’t be crying if you didn’t care about this! You’re just trying to seem cool so you can ge-”
“F/N-Chan?” your head perked up hearing the familiar voice of your best friend Tendou, standing there in a different school uniform than you. He watched in horror as a girl threw hot bean paste at your face, which stung you a bit. Tendou ran up to you and dragged you from out of the puddle of milk, wrapping his arms around you to secure you in an embrace.
“Sorry Satori…” you murmured, but he just took you out of there, the people envying the way that Tendou had taken you out of there like a knight saving his prince/ess. He stopped to warn the group, but he didn’t turn around.
“Leave F/N alone, otherwise….” he started, the group curiously staring at him as he turned his head to look at him, “You won’t see the spring graduation.”
The group stared at the two of you in shock, sweat dripping down their faces, “M-M-Monster! The Monster and his pet Cry baby!”
Tears trickled down your chin, landing onto his brown blazer. He softly intertwined his fingers with your hair, brushing out the tangles the milk had left. The food had gotten onto his blazer, but all he cared about was you, and the fact that you hadn’t said a word about this.
“Shhhhh… It’s okay F/N… let’s get you to the bathhouse, then we can walk home together, okay?”
You nodded into him, snuggling your head into his chest, which got milk on his blazer. You felt sticky and gross, the feeling haunted you everyday, but usually Tendou didn’t come pick you up. The events of that day ran through your mind, racing on which was the worst event of the day.
Exhausted this morning. Being kicked in the stomach in an ‘accident’. Having spitballs be directed towards you. The constant flirting from the people who only liked your shy and quiet nature. The people who poured milk on your head and when they called you crybaby… You were such a liar. It totally ruined your self esteem and killed you inside, I mean, who wouldn’t it kill inside? Your self confidence was at an all time low, especially because they also loved making fun of the scar on your leg from the incident back in elementary.
