You are (Y/N) (L/N), and you live in a small town in the suburbs in Iowa. It was just you and your mother living together. You were in your Junior year in high school and things seem to go pretty well for you. Okay, well not so well on some events, but yeah, pretty well. You didn't have much friends, except a few friends at school. Anyways, however, someone moved in across the street from you. It was a man. Rumors were circling around the block saying that he might be a vampire. And your next door neighbor, Charley Brewster, was going nuts about it. For you though, you're not entirely sure about it. Whether or not if the new guy was a vampire or not......or is he??? That thought, you didn't wanna think about it. It'll probably give you nightmares. You know how much you don't like scary things, or creepy/weird people too. You know that vampires are too good to be true, right? Anyway, you were doing your nightly routine and getting ready for bed. You turn off your light and laid down thinking. 'God, is this new guy really a vampire like the rumors said???' you thought in your head.
The next morning, your alarm went off. Honestly, you didn't sleep very well last night. Of course, it's the rumors, the new neighbor and etc. You got up, did your morning routine, and went downstairs. "Morning, honey." your mom said while preparing breakfast. "Hi, mom." You said. You were about to leave out the door when your mother stopped you. "(Y/N), wait! You haven't eaten anything yet." your mom said as she walks over to you. "Sorry mom, I'm just not hungry." you said. "Sweetie, what's wrong? This is not like you. Are you not feeling well?" your mom said as she places her hand on your shoulder. "No mom, I'm okay. I'm just not hungry. I'm just feeling a bit weird for some reason." Your mom starts to feel a bit concerned. "Why, honey? What's wrong?" You looked at her. "You know the new guy who just moved in across the street from us?" Your mom starts to get confused. "Yeah, why? What about him?" "I don't know, but there were these weird rumors going around that he was a, 'Vampire'." Your mom just laughed at what you said.
"Haha, what?! I heard about that. Those people are just probably mind crazy. I mean, vampires don't exist, (Y/N). That's just a myth. And why the hell would you believe that?" You looked at your mom serious. "Because my friend Charley is going crazy about it. And I'm somewhat going crazy about it too if the rumors everybody said are actually true." Your mom chuckles a bit. "(Y/N), sweetheart, you can't just listen to what people are going around and spreading rumors about that one person who they think is a vampire. Don't let that bother you. Are you sure you're not hungry, dear?" "No, I'm okay. I'll see you later mom." You hugged your mom, then left out the front door.
You saw Charley and Amy, possibly talking about...well, we already know. You looked at the new neighbors' house...and the windows apparently appear to be dark. And it's weird because who in the hell would actually keep their windows dark at this time in the morning? Ehh, well, kind of a stupid question anyway, huh? 'That's odd, how everybody else around here is out around this time in the morning, but he isn't??? This is starting to get weird.'
"(Y/N)!" Charley calls you, disrupting your train of thought. "Coming!" you said as you run to them. "(Y/N), did you heard the rumors?" Amy tells you. "Yeah, I heard them. I couldn't sleep last night, I tried to tell my mom about it, but she just laughed and said, 'Ohhh, vampires are not real, it's just a myth, why the hell would I wanna believe that?' For that shit in that matter." "Wow. Did you convinced her at all?" Charley says. "No, because I'm not that entirely sure if he....or....whoever he is, is actually a vampire. But she told me not to worry about it. But still at the same time, it's just-......weird." you say kind of irritated.
"Oh, well, let's not try to think of it too, too much, let's hurry up and get to school before we be late." Amy says. The three of you headed to school. But the questions in your head remans an obvious fiction. 'Is this man actually a vampire? Are these rumors true???'
We'll find out~~~ 😈
