Poetry Collection: A heart is meant to love even if it breaks

Broken stars

Every time I look at you

It's like you see through us too

Tell me we're alright

Tell me I'm wrong

And that we still belong together

I don't want to know what's going on

As long as you say we're okay

Though we seem to fade away

I can't sleep

Cause all these pictures in my room

Remind of me and you

Memories buried under rejection

With no affection or jollity...

And when I'm awake I ask myself:

What did I wrong to lose your heart?

What could I've done, so we don't tear apart?

I'm a wreck

I can feel there's a crack inside me

But I have to accept

That you're different now

That's destiny, that's life

But please hold me tight

Like you used to do

When I was all for you 

Who am I without you?

Help me when it's dark

And hold me in your arms

No I can't stand no more

It's beggin me on my knees

And I cry about the stories

That I've never told

And you'll never hear

You and I are broken stars

You lost the way and I lost your heart

I'm falling into pieces

Crashing on the floor

With no one to hold

I don't want to feel

It's killing me being near you

But I can't forget your face

It's stuck in my head

Have no chance to escape myself

But now it's done, you're gone

And I will never belong to you again
