I stood up tall and held my head high as I walked flaunting my maroon dress on my tanned skin. Not feeling a single ounce of nervousness anymore.

I flinched as I felt a hand slide onto my waist. The flash shutters that were going on a constant speed, sped up trying to capture every single shot of this moment.

I turned my head towards my right and saw Aditya, smiling down at me. The refraction of all the flashes behind him, made it look like he was standing in between million little stars surrounding him.

His orbs shone brightly like little diamonds, as he bent down towards my ear.

"You look beautiful, Shraddha." He whispered, his mouth caressing my ear in the slightest way.

Okay, I am not saying I felt butterflies but that's exactly what I am saying. 'I have never felt this with anyone, except V-'

I left that thought right there, not ready to ruin my mood yet.

I smiled back up at him. I could hear the people surrounding us, roar in happiness. The clicks of the camera becoming faster by the passing second.

"You don't look too bad yourself, Aditya. Maybe I'll add the word handsome in there too." I said smiling yet smirking at my attempt to flirt. I swear I just saw him blush.

"How about adding the word mouth watering, cause I can sure see you drooling, Shredder Kapoor." He said smirking.

"This is exactly why no one gives you compliments. Freaking pathetic. And I dare you to call me Shredder Kapoor one more time, I will actually shred you to pieces, no joke." I said through my clenched teeth.

He just stood their snorting, before we moved on to answer the media questions. I was so ready for this.

. . . . . . . . . . .

We entered the hall, where the party was being held.

Disco lights everywhere, the bass of the music was so loud that the walls were thumping with it. Familiar faces caught my attention. Some of them were, ones I would love to see. They were my friends after all.

But some of them reminded me of the time when everyone thought, Shraddha Kapoor was going to fall, to face her defamation.

Back in the days, some of these faces looked at me like, I was a piece of nothing. Not giving me the chance to prove myself.

They had the audacity to stand there and sip on their drink, like inke baap ki shaadi ho.

'Control Shraddha!'
