Like most horror stories it started out as a dark and stormy night. An old house rests at the top of a hill. The house is extremly old and rundown with vines climbing up the sides of every wall, the bricks are cracked and mossy.
The interior isnt much better. When the door is opened it makes a loud creaking noise and you immediately are greeted by an old, cold and dark interior. The air is thick and smells of rotting eggs. Cobwebs cover the walls and the once grand staircase is now broken and rotting.
The beautiful vintage settee couches now stained in blood and dirt. The glass china is shattered and spread out over the ground. The marble tile on the floor is cracked along with the stained glass windows now lying in sharp pieces on the ground.
Today, there's something that really stands out. A small child holding a candle comes in, creating just a minor amount of light and warmth.
The young girl walks straight towards the stairs apon entering. She dashes up only to come to a long hallway filled with doors on each side. But the one that stands out the most is the one at the very end of the hallway. An old iron door that had to be at least 10 feet tall. The locks on the door were either rusted or lying on the ground.
Still, the small girl approaches it without fear. Any normal person would have ran away. But she stood there just staring at the door, unknowing of what was on the other side.
Unfortunately for her, it had been waiting for her arrival. It was listening ever so carefully.
Would she come in and meet her fate? Or would she return home like the others claiming they had slain the monstrous beast.
The silence is broken when a mouse comes running out from the left side of the wall. The mouse runs right through the other side then through a few more cracks till it gets onto the roof.
The small girl gets curious and chases after the mouse. She puts down the candle and climbs through an old shattered window. She successfully gets onto the roof.
It's pouring rain.
She spots the mouse as it runs to the edge of the roof where the locked room's window is located and she goes to chase after the mouse once again.
She now stands on a spot on the roof where she can make out a shadowy figure. Standing in the window. Lighting crashes and the entire sky is lit up. And that's when she can really see it. Ever so clearly. An 8 foot tall monster with blood red eyes staring right at her. Curiosity killed the cat. The young girls last view was the horrifying monster staring down at her from the window as she fell.
