Walking, walking. It's all I know... Everything I've ever loved, everything I have ever had... if I don't...

If I didn't run away.
I bit my lip, but quickly shook it off my thoughts. I have to pay attention to where I'm walking at, pretty soon I'm bound to enter DoJíun...

I noticed that the weather drastically changed, from a swampish moist forest to an average forest breeze.
I had to be getting closer.
I was a bit lost but also fatigued from being drenched in water, sweat, blood, and mud.

Once I got to a suitable city I would ask around for legends on how to break a special generation curse,but first I had to make sure nobody knew who I was or what my race was...

With this cloak on nobody has seen my face...

I decided that long ago, when I left, I would also wear this cloak. I couldn't recall what day it was or how long I've been looking for this thing.... honestly it's all I can do now... I have to have it... I have to I have to....

The ground I was walking on completely changed. No longer rough and rigid. I soon found myself walking on a built dirt path.

I must be approaching a village or town of some sort.

But something began to feel off to me...

Off in the distance, I heard the screams of someone in battle...
My natural instincts kicked in and I ran over for cover by the tree. I Decided to get a closer look I moved in towards the forest, the more trees around me the more cover I had.

Peaking  closer I seen that five people were fighting.
Two were struggling to hold up against the  other three.
Inspecting them from a far I seen a face I thought I knew looked familiar...  however things were not going in their direction, the leader ( a teenaged boy)  of the other group, commanded the girl to attack the other teenaged boy, he failed to dodge the attack and ended up taking a dagger straight to his stomach....

I winced away, but turned my gaze back to the last guy standing.

" No.... Lou.... I-it can't be...!"

Lou who I presumed to be the guy on the ground was now bleeding to death, the other three all gathered around the guy that just spoke, and I watched as they all stabbed him multiple times.... one dagger went in his abdomen, and the other dagger hit his left chest another one hit his stomach again and again.

He puked up blood and still tried to fight back, despite the daggers still in him.

He averted his gaze but then turned and spotted me, behind the tree watching him die...

He mouthed some words, words that I could only assume was this,' Can you save Lou?'

He's not worried about dying.... he's just worried about Lou...

I hid my eyes in horror as I realized that I still had time left!

Was I really going to save these too?
I gripped both of my hands hard before signing.
I ran from behind the trees, I watched as the group that had gotten done murdering those two spotted me and stared at me in utter confusion...
I pulled out my short but magically wand, and casted a magical spell, they soon realized what I was doing I just hoped it wasn't to late...

A notification appeared Infront of my eyes, asking If I wanted to join Francis's party. Quickly accepting I joined their party and noticed that I was now on their team, they were now my teammates....

" How did you..." one of the thugs had asked me, ignoring him I focused on trying to us my magic to close those fatal wounds on Lou and the other guy.
