Chapter 1

Annie POV

Beep beep beep the sound of my alarm going off waking me up for the day. Today my first day at trost high school. In my old high school I was the captain of the football team and on the volleyball team before I go expelled for almost killing some kid.I'm secretly a lesbian and I have never dated anyone.I'm scared to come out to my dad cause when my mom died he stayed drinking and my "trainings" got worse for me cause he would get drunk and make me hit the punching bag till I either passed out or he got tired of me and if I did something wrong the he would make me do it over and over again then hit or kick me for not getting it right the first time."Annie get ur ass down here and go to school,Yes sir".I yell from upstairs in my room.I walk downstairs and grad a piece of toast then go to my car and drive to school.When I got to the school I was surprised on how big it was.I park in the parking lot then got out of my car go to the office for my papers for my classes.I go in and there is a strawberry blonde girl at a desk in the office."Hey, yes how can I help u? Im new here and my name is Annie Leonhardt.Ah yes we have been expecting u Annie, here are ur papers and a map of the school.Thank u I'll be off now... Oh my name is Petra.Bye Petra." I started walking to my home room class.When j got there everyone was already in there seats and I walked up to my teacher I'm guessing was Mr. Ackerman."hey I'm sorry I'm late."I say and stand there waiting to be told what to do." Oh u must be Annie.Yes thats me."I waited  for him to introduce me to the class." Class this is Annie she is new here, Annie would u please introduce yourself to the class?Yeah sure, hello everyone I'm Annie Leonhardt I am here because I got expelled for my old school."I say and someone with a horse face raised his hand to ask me a question."Jean do u have a question?Yes if it's ok with her.Shoot, If u don't mind me asking y did u get expelled?"He said." Don't mess with me and u won't find out," I say in a cold tone. He just gulped and nodded his head yes."Annie y don't u sit by mikasa, mikasa please raise ur hand." Mr. Ackerman said to witch I nod and look for a hand.When I see a hand in the back of the class I tried to look at her face but she just looked down. I walk up to the desk and sit down."Hey mikasa right?" I say and she just nods.She looks like she has gone through a lot." Hey after class meet me In the bathroom."She just thinks for a little then hesitantly nods.When class was over I packed up my things and went to the bathrooms to find that mikasa was already there waiting for me." Hey are u ok? u haven't even look at me all day, and there is a bruise on ur right arm.She looked up at me cause I'm a little bit taller than her and then looks away and says" I-I'm fine."Her voice is so cute and relaxing she looks so huggable."Ok but if anyone is ever bulling u just tell me and I'll take care of it." I say she just looks away and nods."we should probably get to our next class before we're late." I say to which she nods." What's ur next class?Science,cool same let's walk to class together." I say she nods and walks to the class with me following her."Hey is there a football or volleyball team here?" I ask."Yes tryouts are after school today at 5:30 for football and 7:45 for volleyball."She says when we arrive at the class room.When school ended I went straight to football tryouts,To find Reiner and Betholdt there. Reiner and Bret where my friends back in middle school." No way In hell that's u guys." I say and they turn around and look hella surprised to see me." No way,Annie?Bro no way yes it's me what are u guys doing here?" I say there faces light up like they just seen something amazing."When we got in high school this was the school we went to,what are u doing here I thought u went to titan high?"Reiner said." I did but then I got expelled and now I have to go here."I say." What did u do".They say in a annoyed tone."There was this kid that was making fun of someone that was a lesbian and I got mad cause I'm a closeted lesbian don't tell anyone that, but anyway he was being hella rude and I lost control and almost killed him." I say and they look at me like I did it all the time."Well there is only one thing that has changed."Bret says." And what would that be?" I ask." U are almost as tall as Reiner, the last time we saw you u where really short."He says, to which I shrug my shoulders." Alright enough talking time for tryouts" when tryouts where over I was walking to the bleachers to take a brake and I saw mikasa on the bleachers with headphones in she didn't see me I guess cause she jumped when I taped her.she took her headphones and said "hey Annie you scared me.Sorry bout that you just looked so lonely and cute so I couldn't resist." Annie said with a smirk on her face.Mikasa blushed slightly almost unnoticeable to Annie." So I was thinking and I w-wanted to know if you umm would give me ur number. But if not t-That's ok-" Annie was cut of by mikasa." Annie it's fine give me ur phone u big dork." Hey I'm not a dork!" Mikasa laughed a little and Annie felt like she was in heaven.
