I looked away with guilt because everything she just said is true.
" I am only for the gifts this time. He wants to spoil me I let him because soon I'm going to leave Pittsburgh for good."

A tear slides down her puffy cheek. Clarice knows about the airplane ticket to the Caribbean but she keeps thinking if this might be the last time she ever see's me again.
