(FOR MALE AUDIENCES/ANYONE WITH MALE PRONOUNS)
Hey you, yeah you.
Are you here to feel the depth of love and astronomy being put together?
Now, imagine them. Let's say a blue moon, dancing and glaring. Why glaring you say? everyone is jealous of how you're dancing with the princess!
You thought of yourself as a lucky one, and you are a lucky one.
Forget marrying the princess, you loved them for who they were and not because of how wealthy or high positioned they are. Why not run away with them?
You look at them, blushing and glimmering eyes. you imagine the wondrous things you both will do together as you reign. Holding, reciting your vows to one another before you kiss. only to realize that you are loved by a woman with who you also are in deep love.
You knew you had to run away with them, cause you knew how forbidden this was.
"My darling, let's run away from this royal ball of madness. Let's create a family and live in a nice cozy village where all our happiness will center."
As you hold her hand,
"Forget marrying the princess! you're (HER NAME) and I'm (YOUR NAME). We're no longer a princess and a town boy, We are ourselves."
"I agree to go with you, my love. let's run away! I don't like being treated as a doll. Getting dressed up in those dresses isn't me. I'll go with you to the ends of the earth. Hot or a stormy night, I'll go with you."
As you go run in the long, deep halls of the castle, on a rainy night, when everyone is asleep as a baby... uh-oh, it appears that someone would interrupt in a second.
"My dear princess, why are you running in the halls in the middle of the night? With this boy- Hold on, who is that?-"
"Look, I know this is wrong and all but please let me go. I'll explain everything when I come back. The prince, the one who kills and lies, will be my husband? Are you okay with that? I'm not. I chose this lovely town man for a reason. "
The air was ripe with the pleasant, dewy petrichor of the post-rain midnight. Rain falling down, drip-drop.
"My dear princess, If you wish to let go, you can. But promise me that you'll be safe."
"I will, and I'll take all responsibility if something happens. Don't forget that."
"Yes, I won't."
"Let's go my prince."
"I guess we really are kindred spirits after all." (YOU)
both of you giggling while running down the depths of the castle halls, while raindrops like little leaves on fall month.

I imagine looking at my prince, next to me and we smirk at each other, and he takes my hand and we walk down the aisle. I look at him and imagine all the wondrous things we will do together as we reign. He holds my hands, we recite our vows, then we kiss. He stares at me and says "my darling, tonight you are shining brighter than the sun." Then I realize that I am loved by a man with who I am also in deep love.

"He's not-" No, I know what he's not." I stop my maid from saying her dreadful, but true, sentence. She bows her head and starts toward the door. That's right. Leave. Leave me alone so I can be in this room, dark and terrified. I am terrified. So the prince, the one who kills and lies, will be my husband? And my love, whom I gave everything I had left in me, he too, left. Like everyone else, I've ever known. He will take my jewels in my hair and crush them at a pawn shop. Blue rhinestones won't even exist in his hands, the ones I so very carefully chose for him. And money will be there, so he will be fine. Besides his heart, mine will, however, not. The rain starts to pour as I look around. Everything reminds me of him. I bite my lip. No, no he isn't worth it. But I can't help it, so the tears come in earnest. Memories flashback. Kisses and horse rides in the night. Flowers, dandelions, and a small bracelet to which he gave me. I run to the mirror, where I have put a little letter in the drawer it hangs over. It reads: "I love you, forever and I will. My love always, yours". I let out a loud sob. I fall to the floor as the rain comes down hard. The bracelet he gave me sits on my wrist, ever so peaceful. I rip it off of me and scream. The one, one time I have ever loved anyone it sits and casts me out. So then that's that. I will never love again. My hair falls
A person
"In all of the world, all of those people, all of those women, men... others you could've loved, why me?" I asked. "The life of death I lead, the bodies that fall in my wake, but you have chosen me." "I love you!" he exclaimed. "If I die tomorrow, it would've been worth it as long as I know you have loved me too." "That's the thing... You don't understand!" I said frustratedly. "I already see how this is going to end, and it isn't like the stories. The royalty doesn't run away with the commoner to find freedom and love! The commoner is hunted down by an army that only another army could stop, and the royalty is exiled or executed." I scowled. "All I will ever bring is more death, for I am death. Death cannot be kind or merciful or loved. Death can only be what life is not. Desolate, cold, and forever." I turned away, tears in my eyes. "Leave me. For you, for me, and for everyone who may have encountered the sea of the dead that I leave behind." "But.." he stammered. "It is only you! Without you I am dead! Nothing matters but you, my liege." I sighed, turned back to face him, and grabbed his hands. "You are warm. I am not. I will seep all of the warmth from you until you are nothing but a shell, something for me to gaze at in passing horror and grief while others pile behind you." He looked lost for words. I moved my mouth next to his ear and whispered, "I love you, my impossible savior." I released his hands, placed mine on his chest, and pushed him off of the terrace and into the sea. "You will find a new life, new love, and new memories somewhere else. Where I am not around to steal the life from them." A maid walked into the room. "Ma'am, dinner is ready." I put on a smile. "Yes. Thank you." I followed her into the dining hall to eat dinner alone, for I am death, death is I, and the ones who follow me have lost the light in their eyes.
