Greg then said" Hey schu ball, why dont you play with Y/N while I catch up with D/N. Are you ok with that?" Steven looked up at his dad saying " Yeah, I'm ok with that" Y/N suddenly yelled "Whoo, new friend" while remaining her fist in the air.

Steven followed pursuit, they played tag,Marco polo and a few other games while Greg and D/N talked, D/N talked about M/N and what happened. Afterwards, Greg told him everything about Rose and how she had to disappear to give life to Steven. They were both happy that they finally had someone to relate to and talk about these kind if things with.

Steven and Y/N were drawing pictures while their dads were putting away their boxes. Steven wanted to ask her a question, wanting to see how she felt about the loss of her mother too.

"You lost your mom too?" The girl looked up at him, a little surprised by his question. She then, turned away with a sad expression. "Yeah, she got sick suddenly, there was nothing we could do the cure her. Me and papa were very sad, but I try to be strong for papa, even though I really miss her."

Steven had a sad expression, he reached for her hand holding it in his. Y/N was caught by surprised, Steven smile made her feel weird inside her stomach, but a good weird.

He then said" I lost my mom too. Though, I never got to meet her, but I get to hear stories about her. She sounds great, but sometimes... I really wish I got to meet her myself "

Y/N was surprised, she always felt like her dad was the only one who understood her pain, but she felt better knowing that she wasn't alone. She was caught up in her thoughts that she didnt noticed the tears rolling down her cheeks.

Steven immediately jumped to his knees reaching forward and pulling her into a hug. "I'm sorry, I didnt mean to make you cry, please don't get mad at me". He then heard Y/N giggle a little, hugging him back saying "No, no it's ok, I'm just glad that I'm not alone"

Steven didnt know how to respond, but he only hugged her closer burring his head into her shoulder. They pulled away from the hug Y/N smiling saying "Hey, we have something in common and I haven't even known you for a full day."

Steven smiled at her, his little chubby face full of happiness that he made a friend. Someone he could somewhat relate too.

End if flashback

Steven smiled at the fond memory. Remembering the first meeting with the gems, meeting connie, fusing with Y/N and how much love, happiness and emotion there was. Finally confessing to one another after everything that's happened.

"Room for 4 more?" A voice said. Steven looked up seeing Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Y/N standing there with smiles on their faces, the gems that everything was over, and for Y/N that her and Steven were together, and that he found himself.

"Always" he said with a fond smile. They all sat around him, Y/N giving him a quick peck on his cheek, making him chuckle and look at her giving her one back.

"Whatcha playin?" Amethyst asked. "I had an idea, well not really and an idea but more of a song idea" Garnet replied, "Let's hear it". "Yes please" Pearl said while Amethyst said "Yeah". Steven looked at Y/N with a raised brow, she put her head on his shoulder smiling saying "Go ahead".

Steven closed his eyes, and started strumming his ukulele.

Amethyst looked up at the stars, listening to the words.

Pearl smiled fondly at Steven, for everything's hes been through and how proud she is of him.

Y/N smiled as she reflects on everything that happened in her life when she met Steven and the gems. All five of them look up to the sky as a shooting star passes by.

Steven and Y/N look at each other, smiling. Steven gives her a kiss, making her sqeak in surprise. He rest his head on hers, they enjoy the moment, closing their eyes.

"I love you Steven"

He opened his eyes, looking into hers. Smiling, he says

"I love you too Y/N~"

Wow, I got super caught up in the feels with this one. I still love this show so much, even though it ended a long time ago. But, the future is very bright indeed. Hope you enjoyed this.
