You checked your things for the fourth time now, making sure that you have everything on your first day of school.

After you were satisfied, you put your sling bag and carried your binders then made your way to the kitchen where your parents is waiting for you.

"I'm ready!" You cheefully greeted your parents and they both gave you a worried look.

"Are you sure this is what you want? We could transfer you to any school in the world, just not the Borderland-" As usual, you interrupted your father with a hug.

"I am sure daddy and I will make you proud." You assured him and he gave you a smile.

You then turn to your mother and gave her a hug.

"I'll make sure to carry your name with Pride and Honor." You said.

"Of course you will sweetheart, we're already proud of you." Your mother caressed your cheek and you gave her a smile.

"Thank you mum, see you at dinner." You waved at them as you headed out of the house.

You took a deep breath as the breeze greeted you and you started walking.

The Academy was only five minutes away walk from your house and it is the heart of Tokyo.

You can see the Academy from miles away and at night, it will have the brightest light you could ever see.

In other word, no one can miss that the building was the Borderland Academy as its the most popular school in the whole world.

You arrived outside the gate and you smiled at the school even though you've seen it for more than a thousand times.

'WELCOME TO BORDERLAND ACADEMY'

You pinched yourself as you saw the sign of the gate to see if this was only a dream.

"I'm finally going to study here!" You squealed in excitement when you found out it wasn't a dream.

"Stay out of my way losers!" Someone bumped you from behind.

The guy who bumped you glared at you before making his way inside the Academy.

He had a piercing on his left eyebrow as well as on his nose and when he spoke to you, another piercing appeared on his tongue.

He was also carrying a rifle gun on his shoulder and he was walking as if he owns the school.

"What a rude-" You didn't manage to finish your sentence when a guy approached you.

"Hi there, are you the new student?" You turned around and saw the guy extending his hand. "My name is Ryohei Arisu but you can call me Arisu and I've been assigned to show the new student today."

"I'm L/n Y/n, you can call me Y/n and yes I am the new student." You took his hand for a handshake and his eyes suddenly lit up.

"Wait, so your parents are Y/f/n and Y/m/n?" He questions and you nodded. "No way, I'm a big fan of them!"

"Well I can give you a signature of them tomorrow I guess." You offered and Arisu grinned.

"That would be great!" He exclaimed. "Follow me, I'll show you around the school."

You and him entered the school and you were happy that you already met a friend.

Aside from the rude guy earlier, everything was going well. Arisu showed you around while explaining giving you informations of how everything works.

"Oh and that's the Executives rankings including all of the other student's rankings." Arisu pointed to a very big screen where you read the names on it one by one.

Executives rankings:

1. Chishiya Shuntaro
2. Usagi Yuzuha
3. Arisu Ryohei
4. Niragi Suguru
5. Takashi Marino
6. Kuina Hikari
7. Karube Daikichi
8. Chota Segawa
9. Samura Takatora
10. Shibuki Saori

"Oh!" You pointed at Arisu. "You're third place!"

"Yeah I guess." Arisu rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment. "It's hard to beat Usagi's speed."

Assuming what Arisu told you, Usagi's Magic power would be speed. She's fast like the flash.

"And Chishiya?" You questioned as you've taken interest in that name.

"He's the most clever student in the Academy, 100% win in all of the Trials and very mysterious." Arisu answered and you raised an eyebrow.

"Mysterious? How could he be mysterious if he's the top student?"

"Exactly, when it comes to Tournament, he doesn't really fight at his full potential. No one had really seen him use his true power and when someone tries getting close to him, they will find themselves walking away from him without realizing until he's gone from their sight." Arisu explained and the more you find out about Chishiya, the more you want to know about him.

"I'm telling you Y/n, you should stay away from him. The way he fights in the Tournaments, it's like he knows what his enemy will do before they attack. So yeah, it's best if you stay away from him." Arisu finishes and you nodded.

"The Trials, you should see this!" Arisu grabbed your hand and dragged you towards a very big empty room. "It may look an empty room but when the Trials begins, you will be amaze from it."

"This is where they do Trials, it's a games where you don't need to use any Magic power. Each Trials have different type, Diamonds, Spade, Clubs and Hearts." Arisu began explaining and you made sure that you listen to every information.

"Diamonds is a trial for wits, it tests your knowledge. Spade is for physical trials, it's all about strength. Clubs is a combination of Diamond and Spade trials and Hearts, I hate Hearts Trials the most." He gave you a serious look.

"It plays with your feelings and betray it, definitely a no for me." Arisu continued and you nodded.

"Which each types of trials there's also the level, it starts from 1 to 10. The higher the number the harder the Trials."

"I see... that's interesting." You commented and Arisu chuckled.

"The interesting part doesn't ends there."
