Chapter 1

On a cold, rainy day in Villa Rica, Georgia Jasmine Walls, and the rest of the town says goodbye to its two beloved heroes. Matthew and Andrea Harden who fell at the hands of the ruthless and unforgiving Conan the Destroyer. Jasmine lays a hand on each coffin with tears running down her face. "Goodbye Mom. Goodbye Dad." She says in a very sad tone. Jasmine stays following the service as they lower the coffins into the ground. She shakes hands and hugs some of the guests that were at the service. She finishes talking to everyone, and she heads over to the car to go to the parents house.

She gets to the house and goes inside. She looks around the room and begins reminiscing on old family memories. She sits down on the couch and puts her hands over her face and starts crying. "Least I know we can be miserable together." Says a random voice. She looks up to see her older brother Blake White standing in the living room. She gets up and gives him a hug. "I'm so glad you're here Blake." She says. He says in return. "Well I tried to make it for the service, but two guys decided to take a train hostage." She laughs as she wipes some tears from her eyes. "Damn am I missing out on all the laughter?" Says another random voice they look over to see Nick Wright, who is there older brother walking into the living room. They both give him a hug. They all sit down in the living room and start talking.

They continue talking when they hear the door open. They all look over and see Cage Shuler walk into the room. Cage is the second oldest of all the children, and he looks at all of them and gives all of them a hug. Jasmine asks Cage. "Where were you at? Didn't see you at the service." He looks down and pulls his hat off and responds. "House fire in Dallas, so I rushed to get the family out." "Well I know Mom and Dad would have loved that you did that." Said Blake. They all nod in agreement, then they hear the door open again. They all see the oldest sibling Cody Willis walk in, and they all take turns giving Cody a hug. Jasmine asks her brothers. "Are you guys gonna stay here tonight?" They all look at each other and nod in agreement. They each grab their respective bags and go to their old bedrooms. Blake walks down the hallway and hears sobbing coming from Jasmine's room. He pushes the door open and sees her sitting on the bed with her hands over her face. He sits down next to her, and puts his hand on her shoulder. He says to her. "You know Mom and Dad would be disappointed to see you cry right now." She looks up and wipes away the tears and laughs. "It just ain't quite set in yet that they are really gone." She says back. Blake gives her a tight hug before he leaves the room to go to sleep.

The next morning everyone sits at the dining table enjoying breakfast that Jasmine prepared. Everything is quiet until Nick asks. "So what are we gonna do to avenge Mom and Dad?" They all stop and eating and look over at Nick. Before anyone could answer they hear a loud explosion outside. They all get up quickly and rush outside to see cars on fire and people running in terror. "It's coming from this way!" Jasmine screams out. The rest of the crew follows her toward the chaos until they stop to see little minions terrorizing the civilians. The chaos stops momentarily when the crew is spotted. "I knew it was only a matter of time before you guys would show up." Said a mysterious voice. They see a alien looking creature appear amidst all the damage walking toward the siblings. "I am the Demolisher, and I serve the mighty God of Mayhem Conan The Destroyer. Soon you will bow to him or you will vanquish at his own hands." He says to them. Blake then steps forward and responds. "We bow to no one, and we damn sure ain't gonna die today." The Demolisher looks at Blake with a little smirk on his face. He then chuckles and without a moment of hesitation Conan's minion surround the siblings. "Then we will just have to see about that." He says as he walks away. The minions start to move toward the siblings. Cage immediately takes off at lightning speed taking out what minions he can. Jasmine moves a few handfuls without even touching them. Nick throws the minions into the wall. Cody constantly teleports from different spots to take out the minions. Blake engulfs the minions in flames using his hands. The battle continues on, but more and more minions keep popping up making it nearly impossible to end this fight. When suddenly a bunch of gunshots start firing taking out multiple minions at a time. The Demolisher calls back the remaining minions to retreat and return to the ship that they arrived in. "This is not yet over kids. We will be back soon." The Demolisher says in anger.

The siblings look around at all the damage, and then they look back and see two people standing in the middle of the road. "I knew it was only a matter of time before we finally got to meet." Said the mysterious man. They walk over to them all with confusion on their faces unaware of who these people are. "Let's have this conversation back at my house." He says. They follow the man and the young woman to a huge mansion in the middle of nowhere. They walk inside and just stand there looking around at the luxurious home. "Please take a seat." Asks the man. They sit in the chairs and couches that are in the living room, and await to hear what this guy has to say. "Who are you?" Asks Cody. He responds. "Where are my manners? Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Seth and this is my lovely daughter Veronica." Veronica waves at the group. Blake asks. "So why did you help us out back there?" Seth just takes a sip of his tea and then laughs. "You see I know exactly who you guys are, and I know what you guys are looking to do." He says. He continues on. "I fought alongside your parents for the longest time, but then when it was like all was finally calmed down and there was nothing else to do I decided to let them do their own thing and I did mine." Blake stands up and says. "So what does this have to do with us?" Seth looks over at him and responds. "Because you guys are the last hope this world has to defeat Conan, and prevent the fall of mankind as we know it." The siblings look at one another in confusion. "You guys may not know it, but you are apart of a prophecy, but not just any prophecy. This prophecy can end in one of two ways. One, you guys defeat Conan and save the world just as they would expect you to, or two, you guys fail to do so, and Conan destroys this planet on the Day of Reckoning." Seth explains. Nick then stands up in a fit of anger. "So you're telling me that either if we win or we die we fulfill a prophecy? We just have to defeat Conan before the Day of Reckoning right?" Seth looks down and shakes his head. "It's not that simple." Says Veronica. "Conan is the most powerful force in the universe. He's destroyed many planets on his path to be the only being left alive. Earth lost hope when your parents lost in the battle with Conan. When the Day of Reckoning arrives Conan will gain enough power to destroy the Earth with a single strike." She explains. "Where can we find Conan?" Asks Cage. Veronica replies. "On his home planet of Zenith. It's just him there. He killed his own people as they doubted his will to be a God. The more he kills the more power he gains, and all the power goes from him to his hammer, which he will use on the Day of Reckoning to destroy the Earth." Silence fills the room after Veronica's explanation. Seth walks around the room and looks at all the siblings that are just struck with awe at what they heard. Finally, they all stand up and begin to leave. "We will figure something out to stop him and make sure the prophecy ends the right way." Blake says as he looks back at Seth and Veronica. Seth responds. "Don't take too much time. The Day of Reckoning is approaching." They walk out the door and proceed to go home.
