Chapter 5 Rewrite

"Hey, you can't blame the hat." She says shuffling through a box."And less talking more searching." She adds throwing the empty box away. "God's this is gonna take forever isn't it." You mutter throwing random objects away from a bin. As you search your ears pick up the sound of someone talking. You pay no mind to it and keep on searching through the bin. "What should Mafia do with hourglass." You stop. 'Hourglass? Wait a minute then that means.' You look up from your spot scanning around to pinpoint where the voice came from.

"Oh, maybe Mafia should give it to boss." Your eyes lock onto a step leading to a second area. 'Bingo.' With Hat Kid's back turned you make your way up the steps. Walking up the steps you can hear the voice of the Mafia get louder. You make it up to the top though a big mud puddle was in the way. Carefully you maneuver your way through successfully making it through without getting dirty.

As you turn around the corner your eyes see it the Mafia guy but the most important thing of all the timepiece. After you came he starts to turn around specifically in your direction. Swiftly before he can see you, you went back around the corner back pressed against the wall. You wait listening intently for any sounds of movement. After a couple of seconds sensing that he wasn't looking anymore, you poke your head around the corner your sense was right he was no longer looking where you were at.

Staring at the Mafia guy you notice a couple of things as he looks left and right. He didnt look like any of the other Mafia members well he kinda did but there were a few key details about him that made him different. The so called Mafia guy was shivering almost as if he was cowering in fear. 'Huh, this should be easy enough.' You thought taking out your pipe. As you go to step out of your hiding spot you remember something Hat Kid said "Do. Not. Touch. It. Unless I order you to." Right, you forgot about that. You lower your pipe down 'Guess I have to get her.' You thought walking back to where the steps were.

"Ugh, where the heck is it?! And where's y/n !?" You hear an angry groan fill the air. Walking to the edge you look down to see Hat Kid looking left and right with her back turned to you. You open your mouth to let her know you were there but stopped. With her back turned to you it kinda seemed like a perfect opportunity to mess around with her for a bit. You remembered the times when she threw pebbles at you when you weren't looking. A sudden idea popped into your head causing you to smirk.

'Did she actually leave me?' That was all Hat Kid could think. 'Ugh! Maybe I shouldn't have trusted her after all or even make that deal with her.' She angrily thought to herself her hands bubbling into a fist. Sighing she looks down at the damp floor. '

You know what maybe I'm overthinking things maybe she decided to look around a different area or got lost or... oh who am I kidding, of course, she would leave me.' Her fist relax till it was in its same state. 'It's probably for the best I've dealt with things by myself before I can find the timepieces all... all by myself... in a different planet... all 56 of em by my...self...' She stares down at the floor her face contorts in a solemn look.

All of a sudden something hits the back of her head. She yelps in shock. 'What the?' She looks down to see an empty can. 'Alright, who did it?!' Angrily she swiftly brings her umbrella out. She whips around searching for the person. "Hey Cap." An all too familiar voice says from above. Bringing her head up her blue eyes meet e/c ones staring at her. Smirking the person says "I think I've found em."

"Where, where is it whered you find it?" Hat Kid frantically asks looking around the area. After your little entrance, she made it up the stairs at a quick pace even nearly falling down the steps. "It's right around the corner," You tell her. "But before w-" Before you could finish your sentence Hat Kid broke into a sprint. "Wait, Kid!" You whisper yelled reaching for her. As Hat Kid was about to round the corner quickly you grabbed her collar.

"Hey, why'd you stop me?" She whined. You grab her head turning it around. "Because of that." You say pointing at the Mafia man. "Oh." She utters in understanding. "Dont worry though," You bring out your pipe. "Getting that timepiece should be a breeze." You finish. "Y/n!" She lets out a horrified gasp. "We are not going to use violence!" She says glaring at you. "Oh come on! I could wipe that guy within seconds and boom you have your timepiece back." You tell her. "I'm the captain what I say goes." She says crossing her arms.

"And remember rule 2." She says. You open your mouth but stop. 'Oh right rule 2 you cant harm the enemy too hard.' "Well, what are we supposed to do then?" You question her. She looks down with her eyes squinting in thought. "You dont have an idea dont you." You say it almost like a statement. Like an idea popped into her mind, she opens her mouth but stops. She puts her finger under her chin in thought. You sigh in annoyance.

Turning around to check the Mafia guy you see that he's still there thankfully. Yep, You felt annoyed that you couldn't get the timepiece back the quicker and easier way. You just wanted to get this done already you wanted to meet with Mu already you wanted to get the stupid timepieces already you wanted to leave this stupid planet already you wanted to get back home already.

You...you wanted to see her already... Gargh that's it! You bring out your pipe. Yeah, you knew Hat Kid was gonna get upset with you and scold you and do her chores or whatever but you didnt care. It's just one person anyways she'll get over it soon and besides what was she gonna do stop you?

You turn around "That's it kid I'm gonna...kid?" Before you could shout at Hat Kid you were greeted by a surprising sight. There in the mud puddle was a giggling Hat Kid rolling around splashing like she was a madwoman. Soon she stops after she spots you staring at her. "Kid what the fu-" "Y/n I have a plan!" She exclaims proudly. "...and what does it have to do with...this?" You question gesturing at her muddy form.

"I was thinking what if we disguised ourselves as aliens." "Aliens?" "Yeah, aliens! By covering ourselves with mud we can disguise ourselves as aliens and disguising ourselves as aliens we can scare the guy into giving it to us." She explains sounding proud. "...kid I... I know the Mafia are dumb and all but is this even gonna work?" You ask her quizzically. The Mafia were dumb and all but they wouldn't fall for such a dumb trick would they?

"Yes, I'm sure it's gonna work." She confidently says. With a thoughtful yet concerned look, you look down at your surprisingly clean yet ruffled school uniform. "Kid there's no way I'm gonna do this ain't no way I'm gonna risk my uniform getting ruined because of this plan." You state. "Oh come on you fancy pants it's just a uniform." She says annoyedly. "Yeah an expensive uniform." You retort. "An expensive uniform that can get easily replaced. Come on this is the only plan I've got." She retorts right back.

Looking at Hat Kid you look down at the brown wet sludge of mud. Sighing you take your coat off neatly folding it before looking back down at the disgusting sludge.

Oh boy, mom and dad are definitely gonna get mad at me.

Oh boy I think this is one of my worst chapters yet. I think its pretty obvious that I was rushing near the end. One thing I noticed while I went to publish this chapter is that all of my updates literally take either one month or more to be published...yikes I do not like that like what so ever. I don't know how I want my posting time to be but I certainly do not want it to be once a month so I might plan on writing  3 times a month or I might even post weekly but each chapter will be short I don't know yet though. So a couple important things for one I noticed I forgot to put rewrite for chapter 4 so sorry if you saw 2 notifications for this book second its official Imma be creating another book now your probably wondering what the book is gonna be well if your into anime and if your into harry potter or anything that has something to do with witches and magic its a Little Witch Academia reader insert book now I'm not gonna create the book at least yet as of right now I'm not finished with the anime yet and I'm still trying to plan out how the reader and story should go but yeah thats about it sorry if theres any mistakes I might reread this chapter and edit some grammar mistakes so anyway I hope you guys are having a great day or night and I'll see you guys soon peace.
