Chapter 5 Rewrite

"Well, now that that's over I think it's about time we head on to Mafia Town." You say walking towards the door. "Hold on! Don't leave without me I need to get my raincoat." Hat Kid shouted. "Why would you need a raincoat?"

After the little meeting, you two had the both of you ended up in the docks of Mafia Town where unlike the clear daytime weather it was now foggy and pouring down with rain in the dead of night. "The rain's pouring down pretty hard right now." You commented to no one in particular staring into the sky as the flash of lights followed by a thunderous boom lit up the night sky.

As you stare into the sky a thought came to your mind. 'Mu didnt tell us the exact location.....didnt she.' You felt like you were about to facepalm right about now. How the hell are you guys supposed to meet up with Mu if Mu didnt even tell you where? "Hey, Kid I don't think we can fi-...kid?" As you were about to break down the news to Hat kid turning around you see her gone from her original spot.

"Y/n over here!" Turning around where the voice came from you see Hat Kid at the bridge. "C'mon you wanted to see Mu right?" She reminds you shouting from the bridge. "Yeah about that-," Before you could finish your sentence Hat Kid suddenly broke into a sprint. "What the-Hey!?" You exclaim out in confusion. You followed suit sprinting after her.

'Damn she's fast.' You thought as you kept on running trying to keep up with her. After a while of running, Hat Kid finally came to a halt. "Can you not," You pant. "Runoff next time Kid?" You panted bent down holding your knees to support your tired form. "Wow tired already? You can handle a couple of Mafia guys yet you can't handle a simple run?" She asks teasing you.

"That's becau-oh whatever." You say choosing not to argue. "Listen kid" "It's captain." She cuts you off reminding you. "Fine Captain," You correct yourself annoyed at being cut off. "I don't think it's possible for us to find Mu." You tell her. "Why's that?" She questions. "Well, apparently she forgot to tell us the location." You explain to her.

Hearing this info she puts her finger beneath her chin in a thinking position. "I see well not to worry because we have." She points up specifically at her hat. "...a hat?" You say with uncertainty. "Exactly!" She replies confidently. "Now come on our first obstacle awaits." She says pointing her thumb at a rocky hill. Straight away after she said that she starts to maneuver her way up the hill.

Seeing her move swiftly through the hill prompted you to follow suit briskly so as to not get left behind. "So how's a hat gonna help us," You pause as you pull yourself up onto a rock. "Out exactly." You pant out. "You'll see my hat does something really important." She says as she hops from one rock to another. "Like what doing magic tricks and pulling out rabbits." You chuckle. "Ow!" You yelp after something hit you on the head. You look up to see Hat Kid already at the top holding pebbles in hand.

"Don't make fun of the hat or else it's chores for you," She says tossing the pebbles up and down. "And hurry up we don't have all day you know." She finishes. "Alright sheesh." You respond to her. "This is why children should never be in control." You mutter to yourself. "OW!" You yelp out again after feeling another pebble thrown at you. "CAN YOU STOP!"

"Hmmm. It's supposed to be around here somewhere." Muttered Hat Kid. After climbing the hill and a couple of twists and turns you guys made it to a spot where there was supposedly a timepiece around here. "Didnt you say we were gonna meet with Mu?" You question reminding her why you guys were here for. "Dont know how long it's been but she's definitely gonna chew us out now." You added. 'You just hope Mu took a quick detour somewhere.'
