Chapter 6: Back to the start

"Are you fine there?" A voice from outside the room asked.

I answered with a "Yes, I'm just picking clothes."

"Okay, we will be downstairs if you need us," She said and footsteps leaving can be heard.

After doing so, I went out of the room and went downstairs as I smelled a delicious scent from the kitchen.

Then a tall man walked towards me and hugged me.

"Sakura, my daughter. The girls told me that you will be selling your works in town again? Have breakfast first," He said and broke the hug as I smiled at him.

So he's my father?

I mean, her father.

I wish he could also be this nice.

He leads me to the dining area and served me breakfast.

"Thank you, father," I said and continued eating breakfast.

After I finished eating, I went to the living room to see the girls with the paintings prepared.

"Let's go already?" The girl who looks like Nayeon said. I just nodded.

We rode a carriage since this place wasn't really adapting to the city or something.

The actual time I went here was there were not that many vehicles.

We made it to the town and it was crowded.

Well, obviously it is.

We walked around as I just followed them.

I don't know where to go obviously.

"You always loved going here, Sakura. What's wrong?" Momo's lookalike asked.

"Yeah, Mona's right. You've been acting really different lately," The one that looks like Mina said.

Wait.

I remember reading their names.

So Mona is Momo?

Mira is Mina?

Nami, I'm obviously guessing that it's Nayeon.

And Jisoo for Jihyo?

I guess.

So they were also related in the past?

Is this another trick to make me believe in destiny?

I was brought back as I noticed the girls stop at a certain shop.

"Kyungwan! How  much would we sell this for?" Nami asked.

She looks like Jeongyeon.

"Why not give it for free, love?" She then smiled and chuckled afterward, causing Nami to look away and blush then lightly hit Kyungwan's shoulder.

I think I'll get used with their names for now.

This is cringy and weird.

"Just kidding, I wouldn't want to waste Sakura's efforts," She continues to scan the painting.

Made by my great grandmother.

"I mean, how much would you want me to sell it for?" She then asked.

"It's up to you guys, really. You know my purpose of selling them so I'd be fine with anything," I unconsciously said as they all agreed.

"Well, just come back for it later or tomorrow. I mean, anytime," She said as I nodded.

"Thank you, we'll be on our way now. I was still tasked to buy fresh ingredients from the market," Mira said as we left after bidding goodbyes.

They bought what they needed and they said that they would want to drink beverages in the meantime so I just agreed.

We went to a café and ordered drinks.

We were talking about how their days went by yesterday as a satisfying sound was then heard.

It was the sound of the piano.

I roamed around to see a girl pressing the keys of the said instrument.

The girl closed her eyes as the audience was in awe with the ongoing performance.

But then I recognized the girl.

It was the girl who brought me here.

The one from the painting.

She finished the performance and bowed at the audience and left the small stage.

I stood up as she was near us and decided to not let her go through me.

"Excuse me, miss," She said in a respectful manner.

And it makes my blood boil.
