Naib x Reader Part 1

Y/n was a new member of the manor, known as the Writer. She was only in the manor for a few days, yet was too shy to even speak a word to anyone. She was very pretty, her looks alone would be stunning for anyone and everyone. As shy as she is, she still is very smart, and incredibly strong. She knows everyone in the manor, including hunters, except for one person- Which would be Naib.

Naib never even knew there was a new survivor in the manor as he hasn't had the chance to go to any matches and no one even told him of the announcement. So it was a surprise for him too.

Y/n's p.o.v/3:00a.m.

I woke up out of nowhere, it's normal by now though. I have sleeping issues, and I had them since I was 10. I would just continuesly wake up over and over, I might as well just stay awake.

I felt a little hungry, I might just go downstairs to the kitchen, that might get my mind off boredom for a bit at least. I ran down stairs as quiet as possible and saw someone, I never knew them though...He had a black vest with black jeans, so I'm guessing he was awake all night, huh.

He immediately disappeared within a flash as soon as he saw me within a second, he's extremely fast. Then and there, I felt someone grabbing me from behind. They placed their hand over my mouth, and the other holding me, wrapping around my arms and waist.

"Who the hell are you...?" He asked, with such a deep voice, he's pretty scary...

"U-Um...I'm y/n l/n...I'm new, a-and I'm a Writer..." I answered shivering, I didn't wanna make him upset, nor angry at all by not saying anything do I forced myself to. I looked up at him, he was taller than me...I am 5'5 I can't complain, but he must be around 5'10-

He then released me gently, with a confused look- "I never knew there was a new survivor, welp either way what do you think you're doing around the kitchen so late, it's 5 past 3 or something, go to bed."

I jsut answered back with a sweat "W-Well, you see, I have certain sleeping issues and I would try going to sleep, but it would at least take me an hour...I might as well just stay awake, you know?" I smiled hoping it would get him a bit more comfortable around me.

He then blushed a little and walked up to me closer and stroked my hair, I was a little confused, yet it felt really nice so I looked up at him and smiled again just to show him. He got a little nervous though, and immediately faced the other direction and pulled his hand away and just put it in his pocket.

Naib's p.o.v

She looks adorable...too adorable, dammit I can't show her that I'm sucking up to it, I faced the other direction and tried to restrain myself from a smile. That girl is Hella cute though, I gotta know her better so we can be closer...

"You probably came down here for something to eat anyways so just get what you want and leave" She then blinked and then nodded, immediately going to the cupboard and decided to make a small dish of ramen, now I'm getting hungry.

"Would you like some, sir?" She politely asked, formally too.

"You know, you can just call me by my name, it's Naib. Naib Subedar." She blushed a little and just nodded again. Jeez, what's with this chick? She's so fragile...

I didn't even get to give my answer, but she made me a bowl of ramen anyway, like she cared all of a sudden. I started eating as well as she did too. She's so pretty, even when she eats...

After a few minutes, we finished our meals, and she decided to clean the dishes for us both, even cleaning the table and the kitchen too. She was finished after and decided to smile at me again

Y/n's p.o.v

"What's with you? You wanna be my wife or something?" He then said.

I was burning up, I could tell my face was plainly red.

"W-Why would you say that? I-I'm not even fit to be one!! Hehe...ha...-"

"What do you mean by that?"

Then and there, I just remembered everything about myself. I was just cat called my whole life, even as a teenager. I'm not even good looking, I'm just used the majority of the time and I can't even speak up for myself.

"I'm...useless- I don't really have a purpose, I'm just ugly to be honest, not to mention I'm terrible at speaking, I'm to weak to say anything and I-"

I was cut off by his words-

"What are you saying...? You're literally prettier than any girl I've ever met, any girl alive even-"

He came closer and pulled me into a warm hug, resting my head onto his shoulder "You're beautiful y/n, more beautiful than I ever imagined, and you aren't useless, you always work hard and you seem like the person who is strong, and you should know it."

I don't know why, I just started crying and he noticed, he decided to grab my cheeks and wipe my tears with his thumb as I looked up at him.

"God, you're so adorable, y/n..." He said in such a calming voice, with a small smile on his face looking down at me as he still cupped my cheeks, I smiled back and kissed his cheek in return for the sweet compliments. He was blushing as his eyes widened.

Naib's p.o.v, 4:00am

That was...she just kissed me?? I didn't know what to say or do...

"E-Eh? What was that for?!" I was definitelyyyy blushing, it was so obvious, she then decided to cup my cheeks, I blushed even harder after that.

"I-It was nothing, I just wanted to return what you said...Thank you, Naib. You're really kind hearted, you know that?"

She was just simply so sweet, I couldn't help but kiss her cheek back. After I picked her up bridal style as she blushed yet again.

"I'll help you sleep, okay? I checked my schedule and I don't have any matches at all so don't worry." To my surprise she told me she didn't have any either.

Y/n's p.o.v

Naib told me he didn't have any matches today, luckily I didn't have any either so it was okay. He took me into his bedroom and placed me onto the bed, and then cuddled me pulling the blanket over, I looked up at him and before I could say anything he already explained why he brought me to his bed.

"I heard cuddling someone helps you sleep due to warmth, this doesn't mean we're together, okay?"

It felt really warm, super warm...I snuggled into his chest as he pulled me closer kissing my forehead as I smiled with a slight blush before we both drifted off to bed.
