Stages of Having a Crush (Personal story)

When you have a crush
everything is magical
The Skies are blue
And the birds are singing

Until you see him
Then your heart start to palpatate
You get butterflys in your stomach
You feel like your gonna be sick

Then this horrendous feeling is over
You either tell him or you move on
But how do you move on?
How do you tell him?
Especially when you're scared that he'll reject you and crush your soul

You finally muster up the courage to tell him
But when you do it doesn't go the way you plan
What you were afraid of has happened
Your soul is crushed
Maybe that's why they call it a crush

Then you're told to move on
Forget that he ever existed
Knowing that not only your soul is crushed but your friendship is over
And you say you guys are cool
And that nothing will change
But everything does

Then you're told by his friends that he's the one that had his heartbroken
That you're the bad guy
Because you said no to one stupid thing

For months you're told you're the bad guy
Even though you know it was a stupid prank
And that he was lying through his teeth
That he never wanted to go out with you
And never will

The sad thing is you still like him
It doesn't matter that he broke your heart
Or that you're getting treated like like the bad guy
You keep liking him cause he is funny and has a good personality

You live like this for years
Consently worried that he'll find out
Scared of rejection

Then just as things are going back to normal
you get a text that he likes you
You come back to life
You're giddy and don't believe it
You are thanking God for it
And suddenly your back to a pit of anxiety

You finally tell him again
It hurts almost as skinning your knee so bad that you have to get stitches
You feel stupid
So stupid

Maybe they're right
I'll try to move on
You finally start to like someone new

Time to start the process all over again..
