"It's not... of this world!" Fiona exclaimed with various graphs and papers of research before her. Melly's head turned towards Fiona's direction, tilting her head in curiosity.

"What do you mean?"

"The foundling's spiritual energy. Oh no, it is quite complex, actually. I find myself rather perplexed, but whoever this person is must have a connection to a higher being!" Fiona clasped her hands in a prayer, mumbling fervently something that Melly could not quite understand. Though her face was covered and it could not be seen, she gave a small smile. She never really understood the nuances of magic as she was a woman of sciences, but found Fiona's enthusiasm endearing nonetheless.

"She has a name, you know. It's (Y/n). I do wonder what kind of talents will she bring to the table, knowing that she is the Seer's apprentice," Patricia said, studying the graphs as well with her own understanding. "I find it quite suspicious that Eli could not tell much about her, other than she has the mouth of a sailor and speaks of things we may not understand."

"Ah, she does? She seemed quite lovely to me, though! I hope we can still be friends. Who's her roommate? Is it me?" Melly buzzed about the new survivor with energy, excited for a new friend in the manor and possible roommate. Being one of the newest females, she did not have a roommate and the company of bees could only do so much for Melly's wellbeing.

"Hmm... I think so. You or Vera, but both of you have quite the set up in your rooms and there might not be enough space for the foundling. And- bees... sorry, Melly. I don't think they can... well, what if they can't handle the bees?" Patricia reasoned carefully, giving Melly a sympathetic smile.

"Awww..."

Eli visited the infirmary the tenth time that day. This time, he came with the purpose of watching over the sleeping (Y/n) and arranging his thoughts. After some time alone, he was able to piece together that (Y/n)'s memories were the ones he received prior to her sudden appearance. Though it certainly explained the wound, it did not explain how she came here.

It didn't really explain her knowledge either. No one, no matter how they came to the manor, knew about what they were getting into, much less the people who were still in the manor. He does not remember ever meeting a (Y/n) in his life either, but lied that he knew her.

Eli knew she was more valuable remaining in the manor. If she knew about him, what else does she know? What his fellow survivors? Or even about Gertrude? Or this Manor and its entire purpose, and why-

"Oh, hello Eli. Please, do not worry. I can watch over her as all of my matches have been cancelled for today," Emily said as she entered the room with a new tray of medical items. She settled it on a table at the only patient's bedside.

"Aha... How could I not be worried over my apprentice?" Eli lied with a hitch in his voice. Well, not really as he was indeed concerned, but the sleeping girl was not his apprentice at all.

"I understand, but you have a match later if I am correct. It's best that you start preparing now otherwise you would be late. I know how horribly upset your owl gets every time." Emily voiced her concerns, checking the patient's wounds with metal instruments before quickly scribbling down details in a nearby clipboard. Her eyes quickly glossed over the basic information that Eli gave to her. (Y/n) (L/n), the apprentice.
