"Who?" I asked after finding my voice.

"Someone you know pretty well" his smirk grew if that was even possible.

"Who?" I asked even though i had this gut feeling that he won't tell me.

"That's for me to know and not you" he chuckled. I pouted playfully as his fingers stroked my hair.

Even though i liked how the conversation turned into something more fun but i still had my heart sink at the idea of him being with someone else. Don't get me wrong im happy he found someone better than mads, someone that makes him the happy douche he is, but i just wish it was me.

"Hey" his voice cut me off my thoughts. I smiled at him as his hands fell off my hair.

"Don't think too much about it milly, i will introduce you to her soon" he winked at me and I couldn't help but feel a heavy weight on my heart, like a rock or something. I nodded hesitantly and shot him my perfect fake smile. He returned it back immediately and engulfed me in a hug, burying his head in my neck. My arms wrapped around his neck immediately, just sniffing his intoxicating smell.

Even if the asshole is having a crush on someone else, it can't hold me back from this moment. Where i can feel myself out of this world, just me and him.

"Did you seriously have to call him? Can't you see that he's the reason why she's been off lately?" I heard adam whispering as we made our way down the stairs. Me and Jaden sat for a while just talking and catching up on the latest. He told me how mads would always try to make some moves on him to try and get him back and how it makes him feel sick, and i told him all about what happened before he came and how i felt and i just felt so relieved to find such a good listener, i needed that.

I cleared my throat as a gesture of our presence, I don't know why Adam was being mean but i sure as hell didn't like it. It just reminds me of our past.

"Emily" abby whispered as soon as i came into the picture and engulfed me in a tight hug.

"Im sorry we yelled at you, we were just scared and you know how i feel about you turning off your phone especially after what happened in-" she started blurting out in my hair and i had to cut her off because obviously she wasn't aware that Jaden was here.

"It's fine abbs i know you guys were scared and what I did was wrong as well" i said softly. She pulled away just enough to see my face as i gave her a genuine smile, she responded with a grin and gave me a peck on the cheek.

"Aww you guys are so cute, you're making me jealous" Jaden mocked with a girl's tone to add emphasis.

"Fuck off" i whined rolling my eyes at him as he chuckled. Abby gave me a wink before pulling away and i just groaned. After seconds someone grabbed me strongly by the waist and pulled me against his hard chest, as soon as Adam's scent filled my nose i knew it was him.

"Im sorry for yelling at you" he mumbled softly in my hair as he buried his face in my neck, his hand sliding slowly to my lower back. The action caught me off guard but I remembered that he was waiting for a response.

"It's fine I understand" I mumbled softly rubbing up and down his back with my hand. I tried to pull away but he was way too stronger than me that he kept me closer to his chest, preventing me from pulling away. Abby cleared her throat and i couldn't be more thankful to her, she saved me from this awkward position as adam pulled away. He still had his hand on my lower back so I immediately stepped out of his grip, I caught him frown before it switched into a smile within seconds.

"So Jaden.." abby started, breaking the intense silence.

"Huh?" He mumbled nonchalantly, glaring at Adam as if he was preparing himself to murder someone.
