you run downstairs in your shorts and payton's sweatshirt.

M | is that-

A | YES! i found it on the floor of my room. he left it.

Am | awe. does it smell like him.

A | yeah. smell.

you hold the sleeve up to them. they nod. you start your walk out. on your way over there and you and the girls have some great laughs. amber runs over to bryce.

Am | hey babe.

he picks her up and kisses her.

B | hey princess.

you look next to bryce and see austin. from the party.

Austin | audrey! hey!

A | hey!

he opens his arms and you hug him.

Austin | you're the last person i would have thought to see here.

A | amber is my best friend anyways.

Austin | ohh, i see.

A | yup. and this is maggie.

Austin | maggie! i know her.

M | hey stein.

Austin | we're doing this?

M | yup.

you laugh and the boys finish up the tents. you set it up super cute and lay out the sleeping bags.

B | this is how you spend your time?

Am | absolutely.

B | get out here. you wanted pictures didn't you?

Am | come on babies!!

you walk out and take tons of pictures on the beach. you all sit around the fire close to each other since it's getting breezy out. you lay your head on maggie's shoulder. your phone buzzes.

Payton
hey aug. do you have a few minutes?

Audrey
yeah of course. what's up?

Payton
can i call you?

Audrey
i'll call you right now. hold on.

you stand up.

M | where are you going.

A | i have to call someone really quick.

M | seriously.

austin | oh, come on wait until tomorrow.

Am | can't he wait until tomorrow morning.

A | no i have to.

maggie takes you phone from your hand.

M | it's not that big of a deal.

A | maggie! give it back.

M | payton will be there in the morning. but we're here right now.

A | please maggie.

M | nope.

you snap. quickly realizing how violent you sounded.

she hands you your phone.

Am | what was so important anyways?

A | payton sounds really sad and he asked if he could talk to me for a minute.

M | oh i'm sorry audrey.

A | it's okay. i shouldn't have snapped at you.

Am | well go talk to him. go on.

you smile and walk into the tent zipping it up behind you.
