WWE: Rise of a Superstar

Chapter One: Rean Troy

It was time for NXT as a man walked towards the building. He was a rookie who only wrestled in the indies before this. The man's ring name was Rean Troy. He had short and messy black hair as well as a sturdy build, but nothing to write home about. He looked up at the NXT stadium.

Rean: So... this is where my story starts huh...

Rean was a bit nervous but held it in as he went to walk into the stadium. Once there, he saw a bald man with a long beard wearing a suit and red tie. Rean recognized this man as Triple H, though his appearance reminded him more of Kratos from God of War. Triple H saw im and walked towards him.

Triple H: You must be one of the new guys.

Rean: Um, yeah. My name is Rian Troy.

Triple H: Well Rean, I'd like you to follow me real quick.

Rean nodded and did as he was told. He followed Triple H, who led him to a room full of other talents. There were probably 43 other superstars looking to make a name for themselves in the room.

Triple H: Go ahead and take a seat.

Rean: Huh? Oh, um, okay.

Rean looked around to find an open seat. He ended up sitting between a girl with long, blond hair and a guy who seemed to be laid back. Rian spoke to the laid back guy as he looked the most approachable.

Rean: Hey.

Eli: Hm? Oh hey. The names' Eli.

Eli looked at him and held out his hand as Rean shook it. Rean then turned his attention to the girl beside him, but she didn't look like she was in a talking mood.

Triple H: *ahem*

Everyone in the room quickly turned their attention to Triple H, who stood before everyone alongside William Regal.

Triple H: As you may know, a lot of you have been selected to join NXT. However, it looks like we got too many guys in and can't fit you all into NXT's roster.

There was a bit of commotion amongst the crowd as soon as he said that.

Triple H: Now now, that doesn't mean I'm just gonna kick you all out. Instead, we're going to allow each of you to prove yourselves. Before NXT starts, you all will be given a match against each other. You each will be judged by your performance in the ring, so don't think you'll be in just because you won your match.

More people started talking amongst themselves.

Rean: Wait, what's going on?

Eli: I thought this would happen. Well, this makes things interesting.

Rean: Interesting?

Eli: Well, this basically means that there's a higher chance of nobody getting in at all. At least that would be the case, but I got a feeling there are a few guys here who will make it even if they perform poorly.

Eli looked at the girl beside Rean, but Rean only looked more confused.

William Regal: Now then, could everyone please head to the locker room and get dressed, then meet us in the arena.

With that, the meeting was over and everyone headed to the locker rooms to get their wrestling gear on.

Rean was in a corner by himself when a smug-looking man suddenly approached him.

???: Why hello there.

Rean: Hm? Who are you?

???: Excuse me? How do you not know me? I'm the great Doko himself, plus I'm rich!
