Thor- Ch.8

"Psh" he scoffed in response "nervous? I'm not nervous." he stated as he looks around

"Uh-huh sure" Sif smirked as she connects gazes with Aria

Thor ignored the small banter that occurred behind him and headed off

Aria looked at her raven haired brother curiously, taking note of how anxious he appeared, and placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder whilst giving him a encouraging smile

"Perhaps we should wait." Loki suggests causing their eldest brother to turn to face him

"For what?" he asks bewildered at the idea of holding off their mini expedition any longer

"To survey the enemy. To gauge their strengths and weaknesses from a distance." Loki states looking to Aria for assistance

"I'm liking that. Gauging, surveying." Fandral pauses "Particularly the distance part."

Aria gives a small smile "I agree with Loki. We can't just walk into this without a plan of action" Aria states looking directly at Thor, Loki smirking in triumph as their sister agreed with him

"We know all we must. It's time to act." Thor states as he turns to continue his journey

Aria signs and shuts her eyes "Thor don't be ridiculous" she mutters under her breath for only Sif and Loki, who were in hearing distance, to pick up on

"He's just got to swing his hammer..." Sif sighs in agreeance with the princess

Reluctantly, the others follow the eldest prince to what could be their demise.

The group trudges behind Thor across the frozen wasteland, shielding themselves from the howling wind and cold.

Aria's fingers dancing around at her sides as she uses her abilities to direct the snowfall and wind away from the group as best she can, whilst frosting over any ice with each step she takes to ensure none of her companions slip on the ice, creating a blue glow to emit from the ground where she took each step, as well as small snowflakes and blue glowing ball-like shapes to emit from her hands.
