Star's...
Most people just think of them as distance balls of gas, but to me they hold a different meaning.

Y/n's POV
The star's have always been comforting to me, even before Wall Maria fell. Before disaster struck. When me and B/n were little, we used to sneak out of the house every night to look at the star's. He thought they were one of the most beautiful things to exist in this god forsaken world.
We arrived back from an expedition a few hours ago. Like most of the expeditions this one was a failure, and where failure leads death follows. We lost hundreds of soldiers, including my little brother...
I'm not one to show emotions in front of people. It makes seem me vulnerable and weak. So to escape everyone I'm sitting outside of headquarters on a hill with a perfect view of the stars. I clenched my fist, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall. Something touched my shoulder making me jump and quickly wiping away a few stray tears trying to keep a monotone face.
I turned my head to get a glimpse of Captain Levi. His grey-blue orbs shown perfectly with the little light the moon gave.
"Cadet L/n, what are you doing?" The short Captain questioned.
I gave him a blank stare. Ignoring his question I slowly turned my head back to the night sky.
"My brother once told me," I paused taking a deep breath. I don't even know why I'm telling him this, but my lips were moving on there own. "When someone dies a new star appears in the sky the night after their death. And if he were to ever die he would be watching me. So why do I want him to come back. He's finally at peace and I'm thinking such selfish thoughts.." I whispered, tears were falling down my cheeks. Why am I crying? I see death everyday... what's so different now?
Levi's POV
I was caught off guard. The usual stoic h/c haired girl looked so fragile. It looked as if a simple touch would break her in half (haha Marco- sorry...). Tears were falling down her slightly pink cheeks. I reached out and grabbed her trembling hand.
"I understand. How you feel, I mean. I have lost so many people I have cared for and loved. And sometimes I think death follows me." He pulled the grieving girl into his chest, "But you also have to think that their finally freed from this shitty hell." I looked down at her. Her gaze was set on me, and she smiled. Her smile was a star itself.
Y/n's POV
I smiled up at him. I haven't smiled in so long. The raven-haired man returned my smile, and damn did it look good on him. I quickly averted my gaze and started tracing invisible patterns on his chest.
"Thank you Captain." I mumbled, still embarrassed.
"Levi."
I looked up at him confused.
"Call me Levi when it's just us." He said.
"Thank you... Levi," I tiredly whispered before falling asleep in his arms.
